Faisal Gill- Political Noose
From BVBL and Goodbye Jim, more information on the guy Faisal Gill chose to work for:
"Prosecutors also alleged in court that Alamoudi explicitly endorsed a terrorist act. They read a transcript of a 1999 conversation between Alamoudi and an unidentified person during one of Alamoudi's State Department-sponsored trips to the Middle East. According to the transcript, Alamoudi said the 1998 al Qaeda attacks on two U.S. embassies in East Africa were not effective because they killed hundreds of Africans but no Americans.
Instead, he said, he favored the selection of "strategic" targets like the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires, where a 1994 bombing killed 86 people. Alamoudi described that attack as "a worthy operation," according to the transcript.
...
Ex-colleagues say Alamoudi gradually became more isolated. Yahya Basha, a Muslim council leader, recalls seeing Alamoudi try to enter a reception sponsored by the Arab American Institute in honor of President Bush's 2001 inauguration. "He was stopped at the door, and they told him he was not invited," Basha recalled."
I don't care how nice of a guy Faisal is. He chose to work for this guy, and in my opinion has forever disqualified himself from public office as a result.
Current electeds/candidates that are supporting Faisal, as listed on his website:
Ken Cuccinelli
Bob Fitzsimmonds
Bill Bolling
Scott Lingamfelter
Corey Stewart
Withdraw Your Endorsements NOW. He chose to work for someone who called blowing up a Jewish Community Center a "worthy mission". Have you endorsers completely lost your minds?
Question: Did he work for him as an attorney? As an attorney of the belief that everyone deserves a fair trial?
Posted by: | February 16, 2007 at 11:12 AM
No, he worked as the "Spokesman" but no one can find any public statements he made for the group- so there are a lot of questions on what exactly he did for him.

I seriously doubt we will see Bolling in PWC any time soon supporting Gill
Posted by: | February 16, 2007 at 11:27 AM
This is sick, the GOP needs to urge it's members to pull it's support of Gill.

I wonder what Virgil thinks of Fasil...
Posted by: william jackson | February 16, 2007 at 12:21 PM
you are a bunch of bigots afraid of all muslims.
Posted by: asim2pwc | February 16, 2007 at 04:51 PM
Sir, Asim...on your site you tell people to support Faisal Gill so that he can perhaps "stop the Jews." I don't think you have any credibility calling anyone a bigot.
Posted by: JMU Duke | February 16, 2007 at 05:00 PM
Bigots? Ben's not the one with a hate blog claiming that Jews eat children.
Geez...
Posted by: finnegan | February 16, 2007 at 05:04 PM
Asim,
I have thought I've seen it all here on the blogs. Do you know what harm you're doing to Faisal Gill and his chances to win that a website like that.
With supporters like asim who needs enemies.
Posted by: | February 16, 2007 at 05:04 PM
What is asim's website?

asiminpwc.blogspot.com
This could really hurt the Gill campaign with supporters like this idiot.

"Think about helping Faisal Gill. Maybe he can stop the jews." - Asim
Asim, I say this with all humility, go f*ck yourself.
Posted by: Dannyboy | February 16, 2007 at 06:20 PM
I'm trying to figure out if Asim's site is for real (which would be incredibly disturbing), some sick joke or someone trying to (further) sabotage Gill's campaign.

Most likely, he's set up by someone who is trying to destroy Gill's candidacy.
Just like Dion set up a web site called "developers for Mike May".
Only much nastier.

"""Most likely, he's set up by someone who is trying to destroy Gill's candidacy."""
That is possible. On the other hand, a bunch of Pakistani-Canadians and a Pakistani-American just got arrested in Ontario for planning to seize the Canadian Parliament and behead the Canadian prime minister.
A bunch of Pakistan-Britons just got arrested for planning to kidnap a UK Muslim solder and behead him.
There are a lot of jihadist radicals here in the West, and it is reasonable to think that if they were to choose between Faisal and his opponent they would go with Faisal.

OK. Now that Jonathan's told us what the standard is, I'm going to attribute his opinions/statements/rants to every Democrat supported by him.
Turnabout is fair play.
As for "Asim in PWC," I wonder whether such tripe can be traced back to others who, for their own purposes, are attacking Faisal Gill.
BTW, Bill Bolling will be in PWC tomorrow night.

OK. Now that Jonathan's told us what the standard is, I'm going to attribute his opinions/statements/rants to every Democrat supported by him. And, by equating a man who has worn the uniform of his country with terrorist suspects, Jonathan has demonstrated that he is every bit as much of a bigot as "Asim in PWC."

"""And, by equating a man who has worn the uniform of his country with terrorist suspects, Jonathan has demonstrated that he is every bit as much of a bigot as "Asim in PWC.""""
I equated Asim In PWC with terrorist suspects. Here we go again. James says that because I oppose Gill's lobbying activities on behalf of the terrorist Al-Amoudi that therefore I am prejudiced.
We hear this accusation of prejudice in one form or another from James Young and from every Gill supporter out there. But as I often point out, Faisal Gill is not all Moslems, and not all Moslems are Faisal Gill.
"""As for "Asim in PWC," wonder whether such tripe can be traced back to others who, for their own purposes, are attacking Faisal Gill."""
That could be so. On the other hand, there are Pakistani immigrants all over the world who believe what Asim In PWC says, and who get arrested for acting on it. Asim In PWCs views are common in Pakistan, where half the population believes that the Jews blew up the World Trade Center.
So while Asim In PWC could be a hoax he could also be real.
Are there any young Pakistanis living with their uncle in PWC?

Is anyone else thoroughly confused?
Posted by: Doug in Mount Vernon | February 16, 2007 at 11:54 PM
Wait, is this guys blog real or not?
Posted by: Dannyboy | February 17, 2007 at 12:00 AM
Yes, and for all intents and purposes I think Gill has a 0% chance of winning a general against any candidate.
Asim's site looks legitimate but I certainly hope its not. Its one of the most filthy and hate spewed anti jewish sites I have even visited.
Posted by: | February 17, 2007 at 12:03 AM
Dannyboy, I was responding to Doug when I said yes, I certainly have no idea if the site is legitimate
Posted by: | February 17, 2007 at 12:04 AM
"Asim In PWC" took his website down this evening. I copied it earlier today.
"Asim In PWC" made violent statements, e.g., "Take that homosexual man and throw him from the mountain...When the imam says it is time to crucify the kuffir we should put the kaffir on the wood and let him bleed for three days. Jews and christians who do not follow Mohammed are kuffir."
If this was a hoax, and it may have been one, then there was probably no crime. If "Asim In PWC" is a real person then he needs to be deported back to Pakistan immediately.

If Faisil was a Democrat and there was a Republican cracking on him the way you are, you would be screaming bloody murder. Bigots! Racists! Intolerant Republicans!
