RICHMOND, VA (April
3, 2007) - Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity will hold a mini build on
the Capitol Grounds to recruit volunteers to assist with the “Delegates Better
Halves” Habitat home build. A year
ago, the spouses of Virginia’s Legislators unveiled their General
Assembly project to partner with Richmond Habitat to help a low-income family
achieve the American Dream of homeownership. On Tuesday, April 3rd
the first phase of the construction will begin on Capitol
Square.
