POTTS CANDIDATE ENTERS CAMPAIGN
Peter Grusso has just entered the race for State Senator in the 27th District. I'm told he is a strong Christian Conservative put into the race by Potts to pull votes from Mark Tate and ensure a victory by Jill Holtzman Vogel.
Developing...
Its Peter GrAsso.

Once again, we may have made the mistake of assuming that because someone's retiring that they're suddenly out of politics. Interesting development if true.

Vogel's support hardly comes from Potts-types. She'd be a vast improvement over Potts.

Thats pure hatred when you seek out a candidate for whom you would never support yourself, only to damage the base of the candidate you couldn't stand to see replace you.
Yep- that sounds just like Russ Potts.
RNO'R: 'Potts types' will support a Dem if anyone at all. Russ has proved with this little move, that he'll do anything to ensure Tate doesn't win. That sends a clear signal to me- that TATE is a vastly larger improvement over Potts, than Vogel. I want the furthest candidate from Russ Potts the election will allow. Personal opinion, of course.

Riley,
Much of Holtzmans original support has come from moderate liberal types in the Valley.
As a matter of fact, one of Pott's biggest liberal-moderate supporters for governor hosted a large fundraiser for Holtzman in the valley.
Yes, she has picked up plenty of conservatives but she has constantly told both sides what they want to hear. I recieved legislative type poll in the mail from her and it seemed she could not decide what issues to support so she was asking help from the public. If you don't know were you stand at this point you probably should not be a candidate.

Moderate to liberal types in the Valley? You must mean almost all of the elected officials and best party operatives. The Valley is truly a bastion of liberalism, and Jill should be ashamed of her support there.
One of Tate's biggest backers also happened to give Gov. Kaine $40,000 last year.
This fabel sounds like it was planted by Tate or a Tateite (follower of Tate).

Fly,
Didn't a major Pott's for governor supporter host a big fundraiser for Holtzman?

Wait, when did the Valley become liberal? Last I checked they were still red as a fire truck out there.

In the announcement party picute on the vogel website I saw two people who voted for Kaine. They have also given money Potts. This all deserves more checking - very close too.

Are we STILL beating this horse?
Ok, fine, Foxworthy. Check it out all you want.
In the meantime, I've got rock solid evidence that one of Jim Webb, Tim Kaine and the DNC's largest supporters is a major donor to Mark Tate.
What do you have to say about that?

Well, Liberals like to say they're open minded - maybe in the case of the one now supporting Mark, he or she is sincere now that they've seen the light. Could be they like roast Turkey with cornbread pecan stuffing (which to me is something to die for)at the Coach Stop too a whole lot too! Point is Mark knows how to serve it up to anyone and satisfy their taste not only for good fare but for less government bought by special interests like Jill's base and paid for by us lowly schmucks!

Turkey with cornbread pecan stuffing is OK, ... but the Coachstop should be known as the home of the best Reuben south of the Bronx. mmmmm.
