Nifty story. By the way, it's Democratic Delegate, not Democrat Delegate.

Your writing skills are horrible.

Post the video.

I think this is an urban legand NRJ. I heard this during session, and asked around about it. I even asked the Delegate in question directly about it. But I do agree that this rumor has been all over the place, thanks for some Monday morning entertainment.

Look, I'm sorry if you don't like the way the English language works, but it's Democratic, not Democrat. How partisan do you have to be to insist on using incorrect grammar just to make some sort of ambiguous political point?

Even good grammar takes over at some point as you used "House Democratic Caucus". See using "Democratic" wasn't that hard now was it.

Punk'd by the English Language, Not Ron Jeremy Reflects Upon a Career Flipping Hamburgers...developing

I've been trying to figure out what NLS is doing allowing "Not Ron" to post here. "Not Ron" is obviously a partisan Rovian Hack, looking to smear democrats with lightly sourced innuendo. Question: Is "Not Ron" the same idiot as "Not Ron Jeremy," the "gentleman" (named for a porn star) who was so overwhelmingly insulted by Creigh Deeds actually serving BEER in the days after the Tech massacre? (http://tinyurl.com/2gdvhd) NLS, you need to allow idiots like the "Not Ron(s?) to go back to posting on freep.

And people wonder why most people don't vote....

I want all of you to know that I am NOT Not Ron, and that I don't have any video. Did that make any sense? Well, any more than the whole post does without any actual video?

So do you have a video? A way or proving this is true? If not, whats the point of this post?

Post the video or stop taking about it. It's not fair to throw out random names of innocent legislators. We wonder why it is hard to find quality candidates. It’s crap like this.

BTW, who cares? Last time I checked, strip bars were legal in Virginia. That being the case. what’s wrong with patroning one? Who is he hurting?

It seems everyone agrees on one thing: Name names, post videos, post pictures...whatever you gotta do to add a little credibility here...otherwise, move on.

Is there anything that Democrat politicians won't do?

Someone had to take the bait, I guess it'll be me. Willis, are you a member of the Republic party? Are you an America citizen? Is someone from Beijing a China citizen?

hmmm... could it be Creigh Deeds????

Cheers to the Mouse's Ear!

This exact rumor has had versions of David Englin, Lionell Spruill, Ward Armstrong, and now Creigh.

Not Ron- do you have the pictures? If not, can we put an end to this Urban Legend?

I agree.

Not Ron, if you have the picture, publish it. If not, then come clean so we can stop the rumors.

Despite my disdain for the above mentioned individuals, it's wrong to defame someone with no proof of what you are insinuating.

You seem to be on a fishing expedition to see who all of us are going to blame this on... when in reality we have no proof of the pictures actual existence.

Keir, Kevin, Bubby and Pete,

Please learn a bit more about grammar before you decide to comment upon it.

Democrat Party is grammatically correct.

It is incorrect because Democrat Party is NOT the name of the party.

It's hysterical to see Democrats get so uptight over the use of the word Democrat.

Let me spell it out for you.

"Democrat" -- even with a capital "D" -- can be an adjective, describing the person's politics, the party they align with, and so on. It doesn't HAVE to refer to the proper noun of the Democratic Party, even though it may seem to.

Thus, when someone says "that Democrat politician" or "the Democrat platform," it is only improper if you insist on considering "Democrat" a noun rather than an adjective. The former means "that politician who is a Democrat," while the latter means "the platform put forward by Democrats."

And Pete, your examples are just plain stupid. Try to follow along --

Rick is in the Republican Party. Rick is a Republican. Rick votes for Republicans. Rick might attend a Republican dinner.

Dick is in the Democratic Party. Dick is a Democrat. Dick votes for Democrats. Dick might attend a Democrat dinner.

I know you really, really hate that last one, but it's not incorrect. A dinner of Democrats can appropriately be called a Democrat dinner, as long as one doesn't assume it's the name of the political party, but rather a description of those in attendance.

NRJ -- nevermind the asinine criticisms above. Most of those attacking you are quasi-literate themselves.

anon 11:33 -

Agreed, "Democrat Party" is certainly incorrect in that it misstates the name of the political party.

"Democrat party" (small "p") is correct, though, since it is a way of referring to the political party that is composed of Democrats, rather than actually saying or writing the proper noun.

I Publius,

It's dismissive and it's meant to be dismissive. For instance, you simply state my examples are stupid, but you don't discuss the actual merit. That's being dismissive. It's a coward's way out of an argument.

"Willis, are you a member of the Republic party? Are you an America citizen?"

Apparently, you're too thin-skinned, and you stopped reading at the word "stupid." I demonstrated the error of your examples with a thorough list of how Republican the noun and Republican the adjective are used, along with Democrat/Democratic counterparts.

I'm sorry if your command of the language is inadequate to understand the nuances here. Try not to take the coward's way out of assuming what I'm saying or doing. If the word "Democrat" offends you so much, that's something you have to deal with yourself.

If you hadn't refered to the Delegate in question as "he," I would have loved to have guessed Katherine Waddell (who I know is not actually a member of the Democratic Caucus, but it still would have been fun to guess).

Pete,

What exactly IS your argument?

Is it that it must be the DEMOCRATIC Party because Democratic is an adjective, just as Republican is and American is?

Is that your argument? Or is it some other that posters should guess at.
