Thanks everyone for the show of support and encouragement.
As you know, as Chair of the Democratic Caucus my energy and focus from now through November will be on changing the House and electing leaders who'll meet the challenges of the 21st century. We've got some great candidates out there and I hope I can count on you to support them.
Onward to November (2007)...

We are going to lose Jawn Warner's seat if McDonnell is not our candidate...

Some very impressive GOP and DEM results. With his move to a new home not too long ago on Duke Street, in 2009, I suppose Del. Brian Moran will have to get used to waking up every morning to a big 4' by 8' McDonnell for Governor sign across the street. Brian moved in directly across the street from a staunch Alexandria Republican and former GOP candidate herself. Good morning Brian...

Now, I jus' want to also say, brrrpaap, scuse me, that I'm mighty delighted at where we're all going with the Supreme court now.. zrappp, brrrr papap. pardon me. I think any worries any of you have had about the darker races being trouble after the backward motion this country has made the last 40 or so years, can stop your frettin'. Give me 8 years and I'll see if we can't get back to a much more genteel time. Heck, I may even make Felix my VP!
Brrappp.. damn this turtle soup.

Ben, you forgot someone - Mark Warner. IMHO it's not 100% that he runs for Senate - I think only if John Warner doesn't. I also think it's not quite 100% that he wins if he does run. He may not even run if John retires.
But, if he isn't our newly elected Senator in 2008, he's definitely back on for the Governor's race in 2009, and that's a race he's a lock to both run for and win easily.
You need to run a poll with Mark Warner as the Democrat in 2009.

You are how do you say, "scused?"
I am glad to know that "your" soup was paid for at taxpayer expense. I suppose you might enjoy some free cheese with that soup as well? Work and direction of the Supreme Court, not a problem, HillaryScare socialized medicine, creating a US Dept. of Peace supervised exclusively by the UN, creating a culture of government handouts instead of a government hand up, problem.

Next poll: Should Warner run for US Senator or Governor?

The "frontrunner" here is Moran -- he's beating Deeds and the Dem votes beat the GOP votes (meaning Moran is going to get most if not all of Deeds' 205 votes).

obviously the more important vote is the 52 to 48 in favor of a dems candidate.
