THE MORAN CURSE?

Blogger, and Mets Fanatic Sean Holihan started working for Brian Moran and the Mets led the division by 8 games.

Since then they collapsed and lost the division today.

Is this going to become like the Redskins curse of the final home football game nearly always predicting the Presidential election?

I've got an email into Brian for a comment and will bring it to you as soon as he replies.

UPDATE:
Moran says "The sox ended the season with the best record- no curse."

CNN on 2008 Virginia Senate Race

Big article from CNN on the internet and how it is going to impact the 2008 Senate race here.

More Information Still Needed from Morrogh

The Mayor of Falls Church Robin Gardner continues to press for more information in this case, and Ray Morrogh continues to refuse to respond.  What the hell is going on here?

BUBBLES BURST

Yesterday, as the Democrats "Seven Change" tour was getting started in the back of a Rocky Mount restaurant, Delegate Brian Moran heard that Majority Leader Morgan Griffith was eating in the front.  Brian went out front to say hello, and saw Morgan was eating with former 5th District Chair Tucker Watkins.  This restaurant is a little rednecky and serves its drinks in plastic cups.  No one is sure what exactly happened next, but about 10 large cups full of iced tea landed on the table and splattered all over Tucker and Morgan!  Did Moran intentionally soak the Majority Leader for coming to his event?

Morgan, having been soaked from head to toe, then followed Brian to two more events in Danville, or about 4 hours of stalking for the Majority Leader.  While Morgan got a quote in all the newspaper accounts of the tour- isn't it a little beneath the Majority Leader to be stalking the Minority leadership team?  And yes, he still smelled like tea all day.

I totally agree with Lowell.

Brian Moran Website

Brian Moran has relaunched his website, and the new design looks excellent.  Check it out here.

One of the interactive features is a contest where you can pick your 5 favorite Democratic Delegate candidates.  The candidate with the most votes wins $5,000, the runner up will get $2,500.  Cool!  Vote for your favorites here, and I STRONGLY recommend making Eric Ferguson your #1 choice.  There are a lot of excellent choices for #2-#5 as well.

Downballot Douchebag, Part Six

This was in the WaPo last weekend, but deserves more attention.

"As a teacher in Prince William for fewer than three years, Pierre had a probationary contract, the sources said, which meant he could be let go without cause and without the possibility of lengthy, closed-door personnel hearings. Some teachers felt "threatened" by him, one source added: "He was one of those people who constantly wanted to create problems."

And now Manes Pierre wants to join the Prince William County School Board.

Give me a break.
