Good quality, good message. It's not one of those flashy, super-clever videos but it's pretty good.

Considering it's a state Senate campaign and it was probably done at no cost, very good.

She needs to re-tape the portion where she talks to the camera. It is too stark. She needs to have a cozy background like all the others in the video and she needs to be wearing a different outfit so that it doesn't look like she compiled this in one day. She needs to smile when she talks and make just a few more friendly gestures with her arms and hands. Just my two cents... but otherwise a great video!

Thought she had it going on more than that....that was as bad as the Jay Katzen for Lite Gov. home video. Maybe she should just stick to all radio and print ads from now on.

Janet's speaking portion sucks. It needs to be retaped. She's looking above the camera, the background sucks, audio sucks.

OH MY GOD!!! Did anyone else not realize that Janet is READING her lines at the end of this video?!?!?!? Watch it again and watch her eyes, you can see them moving back and forth as she reads the cue card. What a loser, she can't even talk for 1 minute without having a cue card. Yeah, she's state senate material alright!! Sorry Janet, but you're not allowed to have cue cards on the floor of the Senate. Also, she needs to talk about more than just education. God she's terrible.

That's NOT what the polling is saying from what I am hearing.

Ken can only do so much about the shifting demographic of western Fairfax - its likely she will win. But that doesn't make her any less wacky.

So the options are...

a) A guy who talks to his toy elephant "Ron" and is as crazy a right-wing extremist as they come, this side of the ODBA.

b) A woman who reads off of cue cards, but otherwise is a mainstream Democrat with views perfectly in tune to her district.
