Damn.  What a day for Democrats.

Not only do Republicans get an arrogant, obnoxious ass as their party chairman- who most of the GOP leadership in the General Assembly hates- but Jeff Frederick announced he would give up his house seat if elected.  Jeff's seat voted for Kerry/Kaine/Byrne/Deeds/Webb and is an almost certain Democratic pickup, moving the House of Delegates to 52-46-2 after the special election and giving Democrats a much better shot at taking the majority in 2009.
