Aww!!! He seems so nice. I hope he wins. I hate the new mayor of Herndon cuz he hates Hispanic people so much! If it wasn't for them there wouldn't be a Pollo Campero in Herndon!!!!!

The current Herndon mayor is awesome!
The old board got voted out because they wanted to spend our money to pay for people who do not pay taxes!

Nice. Go Herndon!
Herndon High class of '86

Oh, and I made my way back to Herndon this weekend- the long trek from the burg- and I must say Pho 75 rocks. (Guess we shoulda kept them gooks out too!! as John McSame might say) (and so sorry, I do love Vietnamese culture, but mostly their delicious, delicious bhan pho tuo!) Bet this fella does too. Vote for him.

Oh, and Happy Cinco di Mayo!! The irony. And I love El Pollo Rico... food coma.
Now, you kids get off my lawn!

I like how he praises himself, and then says how humble he is. ROFL!! Anyway, I sincerely hope this nice man loses... for Herndon's sake.
Doug... class of '86, eh? Interesting coincidence. I'll have to look up all the Dougs and see if I can guess correctly. Did you ever have Mr. Boran or Mrs. Stirewalt?
Posted by: IP | May 06, 2008 at 05:51 AM
Wow, Doug. Maybe one day you can tell us what laws should or should not be enforced. I have a feeling that you can't or won't -- just like Ben!

Indeed IP! I actually never had Mr. Mike Boran as a teacher (govt. I believe) but did go on a senior trip with him to Italy. He was also the debate team coach while I was the captain that year. Other hints? NJROTC plank holder, and I do apologize for what I did to your sister.

Mayor Steve has been doing a great job... Herndon needs to keep him around to continue to improve the city!

Diversity is great. I'm all for diversity. Illegal Aliens, however, aren't diversity - they're violating the law and creating a culture of lawlessness.
This isn't a racial issue, this isn't a cultural issue, this is a legality issue and this guy's on the wrong side of the argument.

If I had a sister, I'd accept your apology. Must've been Keith Moody's sister...people used to get Keith and me mixed up a lot -- especially back in the fall of '85 when he was throwing me the ball (the few times he didn't throw it to Barry.)
Posted by: IP | May 06, 2008 at 03:55 PM
Ha! Well, I had to say it, it was in good fun. Never heard what happened to Keith- kicked out of VT under a scandal? Maybe I'm just mis-remembering. I did see Barry about 5 years ago- he and his family had moved back to Reston. He had one year in the NFL with Denver- pretty cool.

Entire rule of law council was reelected. DeBenedittis beat Reece for mayor 1300-900. A good day in Herndon.
