Uhm "7:00 who is too chickenshit to leave a name", most Catholic parishes (such as my own) have outreach programs that are grant based. Usually the Catholic diocese or Catholic charities will turn to local politicians for help in securing grants. These are community based grants, so any elected official would be pretty dumb not to help with a solution that benefits their district.
While Catholic Priests are not able to run for office anymore, they are free to donate to the candidate of their choice- Sam Brownback had several Catholic priests and a few Monsignors donating to his campaign.
So- what's your point? Father Pfleger was out of line, apologized and moved on. The end.

I would say it has to do with the fact that this is further proof that obama is as racist as the crowd he keeps. He is just very skilled at hiding it. I don’t understand how these “churches” keep their tax exempt status. McCain made a cynical political calculation to seek Hagee's endorsement prior to the Texas Republican Primary. McCain feared Huckabee would whoop him in Texas so he was desperate to appeal to evangelical Christian voters.
