Dog food labels?

Sorry, Tom D. has got to be the biggest fucking quitter/appeaser in the civilized world. Though you are the party supposedly with the stones, Tom O, you bit it with your hair style like a little dog biting tires on a go cart today.

If you were a basketball coach, you'd quite with 4 minutes to go. If you were a football coach, you'd quite once down by 10. Thank God what you stand for sucks.

"Quite with 4 minutes to go?"

Quite what?

Poor Ben:

"Fairfax County Board Chairman Gerald E. Connolly, a Democratic candidate for Congress in the 11th District, easily defeated his rivals for the nomination in a straw poll tonight at the Fairfax County Democratic Committee Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner.

Party officials say Connolly won, but they didn't release the final vote count. However, Connolly says he got 57 percent of the vote, compared to 33 percent for his closest rival, former congresswoman Leslie L. Byrne. The two other candidates seeking the Democratic nomination in the June 10 primary, Doug Denneny and Lori P. Alexander, split the remaining votes, Connolly said."

The story is flawed. It should have said "compared with" instead of "compared to."

More to the point, the blogger known the most for his support of Leslie Byrne only has the word "sucks" in his lexicon. So all Byrne has is the "suck" campaign." What a way to win voters!

More good news! Thankfully, Ms. Byrne and her slime machine will go away June 11, never to be heard from again...hopefully...as all she can do is lose and lose and lose.

Tim, there were 500 at that dinner and less than 200 voted. That's the story here- I know a lot of people who missed it.

If there were 500 people at the dinner and less than 200 voted, what does that say about both Leslie & Gerry's GOTV? Among those who are supposed to be party activists even!

Gerry's website show little updated information since April, although he does have "blog" entires as current as last week. Meanwhile a trip toe Leslie Byrne's website shows five articles supporting her candidacy since the last one posted on Gerry's page. Well, I say five, but two of them are identical. She has a blog that seems slightly more active than Gerry's. However, her blog seems to recycle her "news" so it is unclear that it is really anything more than an extension of other sections of her web page.

Gerry's page gets a C+ (although bordering on a B- because he does have a calendar of events, issue papers and videos of himself) and Leslie's gets a C- based on not having a lot of content/substance and nothing in the form of events (I take that back, by nothing, I mean there is an event link, there is just nothing there. How many weeks out is the election Leslie? But still, both are adequate for Congressional candidates. They will need to take it up a notch for the general election, especially Leslie. Having said that, are web pages really driving voters? $2500 on a web page content and maintenance for Leslie would probably be money well spent.

Of course, this web page used to be the Official Leslie Byrne web page, so maybe that is where her web money is going?

t is ANGRY that Tom Davis thinks that he is a good Republican.

He is not.

What's even funnier is that Lowell at Raising Kaine won't say that Connolly actually won the straw poll. (Ain't denial great?)

And Ben, some of the 500 don't live in the 11th CD and some don't even live in Fairfax County unless Creigh Deeds has moved to Fairfax County when I wasn't looking.

"500 at the dinner and less than 200 voted". Not exactly accurate. Counting the voters in the 8th and 10th, almost 300 voted. Out of district attendees (there were quite a few)couldn't vote. So turnout for people who could actually vote was not bad. And oops, Leslie lost. Just like she will in June.

Interested Observer,

Listen girlfriend, you better watch what you say about Ben's gal Leslie, or else Ben will get angry. Then he will sic Joey on you, and Joey is going to sit on you.\! After that, Joey is going to eat you up! Do you understand me? EAT YOU UP! Then Ben is going to "smear" you with a "Ready Whip" that he keeps "in the closet."

JJ dinners are for those who can pay, not for those who come to the polls. Wait for June 10, it will be interesting.

Lulu - LOL.

In just a few weeks we'll be able to see what the actual definition of "winning" is on this blog. Of course I am referring to both the 11th CD Primary and the Democratic Presidential delegate selection process.

I have a feeling three someones are going to be very disappointed, Ready Whip or not....

io,
I agree, should obama be elected there will be many "disappointed" people in America, the amount of which will increase in direct proportion to any successful implementation of his liberal agenda. (which is now being carefully hid from voters)
