Not Larry Hussein Sabato - Don't you think it's a little odd that you're adopting the middle name of Hussein right above the post condemning Gerry Connolly for taking money from a guy tied into Hamas/terrorist groups?! 

But besides that hypocrisy, if you seriously think that by adopting Hussein as your middle name will help elect a Democrat in November you're all smoking dope.  This country is not ready for a President who shares a name with terrorists.  And furthermore, if Obama thinks that by sitting down with terrorists over tea/coffee/warm mud or whatever else they drink and having "a talk" with them will make them not want to obliterate our country anymore...he's dead wrong.  And what a scary place the U.S. will be if we have someone like him in power next year. 

Vote John McCain.

Light Posting Today and Tomorrow

My Uncle Hershel just passed away in Roanoke- and the service is Tuesday morning, so I will be on the road or in Roanoke for the next couple days.  Before I leave I will try to get some stuff up to autopost while I am gone.  While this is not totally unexpected (after an almost 20 year fight with Parkinson's Disease), it's always difficult to deal with these situations, especially for my 94 year old grandmother who had been his chief caretaker over the last few years (yes you read that right, she rocks).

I'd like to add one thought.  Good job performance in elected office tends to open a lot of new and different options for politicians.  While the deck is somewhat stacked against Tim Kaine for the reasons Bwana discusses, if he had a real record of accomplishment that could quickly be overcome.

Instead the countdown continues to restoring honesty and integrity to the Governor's mansion in January of 2010...

Wondering how Creigh Deeds got your email?  MB has the answers.

Turns out it was the Commonwealth Coalition- the group founded to fight the marriage amendment in 2006.  How did Creigh get an email list from a group founded to fight a constitutional amendment that he twice voted for? 

VERY interesting.

UPDATE:  From Claire in the comments...  "As the campaign manager for The Commonwealth Coalition, I can tell you unequivocally (and would have if either you or MB had asked) that The Coalition did not sell or give its list to ANY candidate. If a candidate has access to our list, it is without the consent or approval of The Coalition. I take very seriously any potential compromise of the commitments we made to our supporters, and will respond accordingly. I wasn't known as "The Terminator" when I was in the AG's office for nothing."

Fox Station in Richmond Kills Cats

This is disgusting  Click here to read the whole story.  It appears the Fox station in Richmond was moving its location and the new location had wild cats living in it.  Instead of accepting an offer to help remove the cats and move them elsewhere... the station decided to bulldoze the property and execute all the animals.
