My Uncle Hershel just passed away in Roanoke- and the service is Tuesday morning, so I will be on the road or in Roanoke for the next couple days. Before I leave I will try to get some stuff up to autopost while I am gone. While this is not totally unexpected (after an almost 20 year fight with Parkinson's Disease), it's always difficult to deal with these situations, especially for my 94 year old grandmother who had been his chief caretaker over the last few years (yes you read that right, she rocks).
Thanks for your patience and I will be back on Wednesday.

Sorry to read about your and your families loss Ben.

Sorry for your loss, Ben.
Take care of your grandmother. It is a tremendous effort caring for an elderly patient the way she did and I tip my hat to her.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Ben. I lost my father last summer about a long bout with cancer. And, yes, while these things are sometimes expected, the loss is never easy.
God bless your grandmother.

Ben: I remember meeting your uncle and your Grandmother down in Roanoke in the summer of 2004. He was the one with the big "Vic Thomas for Delegate" sticker on the back of his tractor, right?
All the best to your family,
Chap
