Final Prediction: It's Hillary
There's a lot of reasons why (unity being #1)... but I want to throw one thing out there.
Why have Bill and Hillary on different nights? And why have Bill on Wednesday to introduce the Vice Presidential candidate? Bill would clearly overshadow them as a former President and husband of the 2nd place finisher.
Unless...
Bill is introducing his wife- the next Vice President of the United States.
Don't rule it out. Obama is a big picture guy and Bayh, Kaine and Biden are such low profile choices. There's always been a sneaking suspicion that all that's transpired to date is a smokescreen for a huge splash.
The other huge splashers that come to mind are Gore and Dollar Bill.

I actually think this is more likely than at any other time since the end of the primary season.
Why wait so long and build this up just so it can be Biden?
It has to be a game changer.
Maybe the supposed animosity between the Clintons and Obama was a giant ruse.
Any inside info NLS?

BTW, will we see more enthusiastic support from you if it is Hill, NLS?

It would be the only chance nobama has, he can't win on his own merits.
He needs someone with balls to make up for his weakness and that is Hillary. Although it is pathetic that the only way he could win is to walk on her to get to the top.

Hopefully, it would cure his bizarre obsession with Kaine's eyebrows. Every other blog post is about that.
Posted by: | August 20, 2008 at 08:45 PM
I have absolutely no clue at this point, so sure. It does seem pretty odd/annoying that it has gone on so long. I'm still going to think it's Biden though.

I think a lot of people who voted for Hillary still have some (hopefully minor) lingering questions about Obama's judgment.
If he picked Hillary that would obviously prove us early doubters totally wrong- and I would be jumping up and down with excitement for that ticket.

I'm for it just to see the Republitrolls reaction.
Posted by: | August 20, 2008 at 08:52 PM
Anon 8:44- another 350lb cheesedoodle clown who would piss himself if confronted by Obama and his mad basketball skilz.
Posted by: Doug | August 20, 2008 at 08:52 PM
I'd also like the entertainment value of seeing Chris Matthews rant about how choosing Hillary castrates Obama, or something. That alone is worth it.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually hope it is Hillary.

I hate to admit agreeing with you, but I am not agreeing with Rowhey! 18+ million primary voters plus 18+ million + the 20+ million over that you get in a general, people who are not as politically active, you win the election in a huge landslide and it is such huge news you drown out the idiocy that's come from McSame the last week.
Add him picking Leiberman and the election total is 65-30 at the end of Nov 4.
Posted by: Doug | August 20, 2008 at 08:58 PM
Ohh, the Liebertool. I really hope hes picked.
I'll have an excuse to take the Sega Genesis CD out of the attic and play Nighttrap, the game he tried to ban in the 1990s. Maybe everytime I play it, Lieberman will cry.

If Hillary became VP, Obama better watch his back, With that women as VP His assassination odds go through the roof.
Posted by: PWConservative | August 20, 2008 at 09:04 PM
Doug,
Your post is typical of the problem with you obama worshipers, we are looking for a leader not a point guard. I hope if you are old enough to vote you do a bit more due diligence
However, if we were voting of a b-ball player I'd rather have Kobe, I watched an interview with him last week. What a patriot he is, unlike nobama Kobe is proud of his country and wants to give not take.
Posted by: | August 20, 2008 at 09:05 PM
9:05, Obama could pick Kobe Bryant as VP, hell he could pick the Angel of the Lord, and you'd be on here every night ranting and raving like a lunatic on LSD. Give it a rest.
Posted by: RoVA Ben | August 20, 2008 at 09:06 PM
Yeah, no shit, I've actually read his policy statements and I've read McSame's. Guess who doesn't have any that are actual plans? The old crankpot, not the ball player. Old, tired, stupid is no way to go through life, cheeto boy. Go walk some laps and if you live settle down in your x-large chair and we'll talk.
Posted by: Doug | August 20, 2008 at 09:11 PM
Wow, I like Biden but what a splash that would make ... I was a "no Hillary VP" though I voted for her. I think enough time has passed and healing occured that this would be the event of the yearsss. A winning combination.
Where I work the Republican men said they voted for Obama just because they did not like Hillary and they felt that it would be a Dem win anyway so anybody but Hillary. Won't that be a kick in their male organ.

rova,
Have a little problem with the truth? You might want to seek therapy because your anger will only increase as your “leaders” chance of winning decreases. It is typical response in those who mindlessly idolize those who consistently fail to meet their expectations.

And the lead story on Abrahms' show tonight was this, and I found myself agreeing with Pat Buchanan. I may be ill. JFK picked Johnson, Reagan picked Bush, ok, you hooked me.
Posted by: Doug | August 20, 2008 at 09:35 PM
Cheese troll 9:34 is writing about George W. Bush?
Posted by: Doug | August 20, 2008 at 09:36 PM
Not all of us can be stunning successes in life who rant on internet blogs without even bothering to use a screen name, 9:34! We're all truly proud of you.

Obama has some bad news coming. He better have a great VP partner in case he has to bail out in October.
Even the Chicago Tribune is noting the fact that someone is trying to cover up Obama's heretofore undisclosed but close association to terrorist William Ayers. http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/08/barack_obama_records_sealed_at.html The PUMAs and some conservatives have been clucking about this for months, but the MSM Obama love affair has not allowed it to come out in the open. But now the cover up (and isn't the cover up always worse?) is being exposed a bit, just in time for the convention.

Doug, I think hes mad because his World of Warcraft Server went down, and his mom took his computer out of his room because she caught him jerking off to porn. So, you know, he has nothing better to do than troll blogs.
Posted by: RoVA Ben | August 20, 2008 at 09:39 PM
Bill Ayers? Did you go into a coma sometime in late March, eh?
Yawn. Try harder, chief.
