I WANT NAMES!!!

STU GIBSON

Absurd.

Wow, the boys and girls at Ranting Kids ... er, Raising Dough ... er, Raising Kaine ... er, "RK" certainly did yeoman's work for the Democrat Party yesterday, didn't they?

This is what happens when you let the moonbats ... er, inmates run the asylum.

And Obama came off as hot under the collar over the lipstick affair. Let's see how well he'll do under fire.

I understand Palin is on tonight at 8 with Gibson?

Well, here's something interesting:
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/palin_gets_rave_reviews_in_alaska_viewed_favorably_by_56_nationwide

Rasmussen -- Alaska loves its governor.

"Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is viewed favorably by 72% of voters in her home state, including 56% who hold a Very Favorable opinion of her.
***

An earlier survey found that most Alaska voters—51%--say that Palin is more ethical than most politicians. Another 33% say she is as ethical as most politicians."

Oh, and now the ridiculous Steve Cohen (D-TN) just went on the House floor and said Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor. Cohen MUST be a Karl Rove plant.

But hey, that's just the opinion of the people who know her the best.

What a waste. I would not have expected Mccain to get more than 20% of the vote in Fairfax County, but leave it up to the crazy left to hand deliver independent voters to McCain and based on local news coverage (not cable) I would expect it will motivate many Loudoun County independents as well. One day someone will have to explain to me what they thought the logic behind providing the McCain camp with a freebie (6,500 capacity versus 30,000). They create news for the GOP when there very well may not have been any on the same day that Obama is speaking from a public high school in SW Virginia.

Disastrously stupid move by FCPS. Caved in to a few small minds, rather than taking the high road.

A modest high school assembly turned into a mega-rally for McCain-Palin. Way to go, School Board. Way to go.

What about the FCDC and in particular the Sully Dems who played a major role in this fiscaco?

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/10/us/politics/10educate.html?_r=1&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss&pagewanted=all&oref=slogin

Speaking of education, the NYT had this article on Obama's work at the Annenberg Challenge. Read deep into the article. Under his leadership, $150 million spent produced nothing. Obama never mentions this in his executive experience resume, probably because it is where he met and befriended Bill Ayers (discussed a bit in the article) or perhaps because it was a flat out failure. I wonder why Obama was selected to head such a large project, as an unknown lawyer just out of law school, when there were other education luminaries around?

Notice that the Times writer tries to pretty up the situation by saying Obama learned from his experience. Well, that's like putting lipstick ...uh never mind

I wonder how much bigger a crowd Obama would have gotten at that venue

Lets not forget Del. Amundson who was also instrumental according to herself. So on behalf of Republicans, THANK YOU LOWELL, THANK YOU KRIS AND THANK YOU SULLY. Hey, by the way, does Lowell or Del. Amundson care that Obama HIMSELF had an event today at school in Norfolk?? Unless today is a Holiday down there, why doesn't Lowell, Del. Amundson, or the Sully Dems care about that??

This is a lie. From WAMU

"September 09, 2008 - The Fairfax County School District had made a controversial exception to its blanket policy of no campaign events during school hours when it authorized a campaign rally for John McCain to be held Wednesday morning. But the school district was informed Tuesday by the campaign that the rally would be held elsewhere because the school's facilities couldn't accommodate expected turnout. "

http://wamu.org/news/#wamu-news-recent

The McCain campaign moved it because Fairfax High couldn't hold the shitload of people they were expecting. This has nothing to do with the School Board, although their "concerns" about this were asinine.

This "lipstick" statement was supposed to be an attack? Going for the capillaries.

This is the worst campaign melt down I've ever seen. I bet they'll be cleaning house next week.

This a like a circular firing squad.

The Elephant is LOL!

So Ben can we finally agree that crowds are a good thing? Man, your spinning for the Republicans in this campaign is making me dizzy.

And both the Post and Virginia Pilot pegged the turnout at 10-15K. Maybe they're undercounting. But if not, that's not much better than Obama did IN EARLY JUNE. Got a ways to go folks.

Why would anyone care about that kind of turnout in Fairfax County. The area has elected republican congressmen for the last 10 years if not longer (but not for long). So I am sure there will be republicans attending the rally. So F'nn what!

The repub campaign is nothing about substance hence the earmark bs about the bridge to nowhere. But if they keep saying it at some point as the press is doing (hopefully) will get the truth and there will be a new vp candidate for the repubs. And then there is the misuse of power as gov of Alaska. It is becoming laughable!! Should we progressives be worried? Only if we can be beat on the issues and the last 8 years has given us plenty of pig to put lipstick on. So who cares about the rally in a park in Fairfax County.

AP Headline from Fairfax: "McCain and Palin castigates the earmarks she seeks"
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/M/MCCAIN?SITE=MAFAL&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT.

Two bullshit posts in a row supporting McCain-Palin! Bravo! Your Hillary deadender-ism is showing!

Sorry brimur. The Obama-Webb rally at Nissan Pavillion in June was on a Thursday EVENING and people could go after work or get off a little early. This rally was at 10 on a Wednesday MORNING -- and still had more people. Admit it -- McPalin has got Big Mo on their side at this point.

Since the event was for McCain, the majority Dems on the "non-partisan" School Board didn't even bother to take a formal vote on overturning the Superintendant's decision to authorize this. Never mind that Obama and Clinton used FCPS facilities for earlier events. As to their "disrupt the school day" argument, I got out of school early in 1968 to hear and briefly meet Bobby Kennedy, which changed my life far more than any class. The Board has provided our students with a civics lesson that an arbitrary and inflexible policy is more important than hearing views on the issues of the day. But now that the Board has set precedent, Sen. Obama can't return to a FCPS facility, which also is a shame. Advantage: GOP!

brimur,
You spin so much that I'm sure you are starting to get dizzy.

Take a breather, pal.

Ben STOP - you are in the tank for Palin and coming off a fool. No NLS headlines on how she still insists she was against the bridge when she was not and took all the axpayers money. And there is so much more.

"Wow, the boys and girls at Ranting Kids ... er, Raising Dough ... er, Raising Kaine ... er, "RK"

Do you get paid for everytime you use this or do you just think it's clever?
