Her "im excited" face is a big much for me. Seems totally fake. But she could get it regardless.

I thought so at first also- but it appears to be legit.

She reminds me of Karen from Will and Grace....Hair and Pitch of her voice

That's not in line with the Flag Code. Just sayin'.

Clearly the bikini shot uses the same "wacky face" picture earlier in the article. However, I believe this picture truly represents the essence of of Governor Snow Bunny.

Check out the "ready to party" picture. It looks like something from craigslist. "40-something wf looking for a good time."

I don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Vet, hippie, whatever, those bathing suits are a disgrace to the American Flag.
Posted by: | September 01, 2008 at 11:43 PM
As the website referenced says, photoshopped...
Posted by: | September 02, 2008 at 12:06 AM
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
This is why T is Republican, folks.
Posted by: T | September 02, 2008 at 03:43 AM
PS - Whether or not this is photoshopped, she seems like a better shot than Dick Cheney.

Given how gullible people are, how realistic the images can be and how easily these things can get passed around electronically, I would hope that bloggers wouldn't use these photo-shopped images unless they put a clear legend on the image that it's a fake.

There ought to be a law requiring photoshopped pictures to be labeled as such.
But if it's not photoshopped, is the guy drinking beer in the background with his bathing suit falling off her soon-to-be son-in-law?

"I AM HEARING THE FATHER IS 26 I AM HEARING THE FATHER IS 26 I AM HEARING THE FATHER IS 26 I AM HEARING THE FATHER IS 26 DEVELOPING"
As reported by the NY Daily News this morning, he is an 18 year-old redneck from Wasilla.
You asshole...why don't you quit throwing this made up daily-kos shit around and report the facts...wait, that's why you're a blogger, isn't it?
Its ok for you to hold the media and public officials to credibility standards, but yet you have none of your own.
You shithead.

Holy Photoshop Batman! If you can't look on a decent resolution monitor and see that the margins with her hair and the trees and the shadows are off, then you need to get a glaucoma check. As much as this would be great, it's so fake it makes Grapes' latest boob job look real.
And the flag incorporated into any clothing is a clear violation of the flag code. But, as a proud owner of American flag Chucks, I will throw no stones.

Palin---Queen of Pork for Alaska
All told, Wasilla benefited from $26.9 million in earmarks in Palin's final four years in office.
In February, Palin's office sent Sen. Stevens a 70-page memo outlining almost $200 million worth of new funding requests for Alaska.

Mary Matalin:
Wasilla is an up and coming town. It's the Tyson's Corner of Alaska.

When you are a mayor, that is what you're supposed to do. Every local administrator does it. If she didn't she'd be derelict in her duty. Otherwise you put your own local government at a disadvantage. When you get higher up, as she did, you try to end the pork system.
Look at Obama's fumbling answer to this question:
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/02/obamas-answer-on-experience-but-im-such-a-great-campaigner/
Barky stumbled all over himself trying to answer how his executive experience ranked with Palin's. The questioner was Anderson Cooper:
AC: Some Republican critics say, you don’t have the experience to handle a situation like this [Hurricane Gustav]. They’ve in fact said that Governor Palin has more executive experience as mayor of a small town and as governor of a big state like Alaska. What’s your response?
BO: Well, you know, my understanding is that, uh, Governor Palin’s town of Wasilly [sic] has, uh, 50 employees, uh, uh, we’ve got 2500, uh, in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. Uh, uh, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. Uh, so I think that, uh, our ability to manage large systems, uh, and to, uh, execute, uh, I think has been made clear over the last couple of years. Uh, and certainly, in terms of, uh, the legislation that I’ve passed just dealing with this issue post-Katrina, uh, of how we handle emergency management. The fact that, uh, many of my recommendations were adopted and are being put in place, uh, as we speak indicates to extent to which we can provide the kinds of support and good service that the American people expect.

Wow, eh, all you have to do is watch the video and you see he didn't fumble it at all. But nice "transcript".
Now, can we have more posts about how to fold and unfold the American Flag, especially when it is in bikini form?
Posted by: Doug | September 02, 2008 at 08:05 AM
Eh, it's not just that. Check out the comparison:
In fiscal year 2002, Wasilla took in $6.1 million in earmarks -- about $1,000 in federal money for every resident. By contrast, Boise, Idaho -- which has more than 190,000 residents -- received $6.9 million in earmarks in fiscal 2008.
That's just $800,000 more than Wasilla for a city with close to 180,000 more citizens six years later.

And so much for Palin's opposition to the Bridge to Nowhere- when running for Governor she campaigned FOR it AND supported the earmark. She only switched when the project became known as a national disgrace.
So why again is she the nominee? Was McCain that screwed among the fringe that he needed the pick solely on the basis of sucking up to them?

The most telling thing I see this morning- and no, this is not from dailykos or any other left blog (btw- ones who chose not to cover the pregnancy item until it broke on CNN).
Intrade puts up market for Palin withdrawl:

If you follow sports and want to get a good idea of how good a team really is, you don't go to fan sites, you go look at the gamblers. When the gamblers start putting up real money on something, it is a real story and a possibility. Ok, just at 14% now, but keep an eye on it this week.
Palin is no longer a disaster, she is a catastrophe.

Yeah people are figuring it out.
Girls can't be VP!!

Palin is just a new version of Tammy Faye Baker. She is an embarrassment to the Party and will drag McCain into the sewer with her.
Palin must withdraw, or the McCain campaign is finished. He may be finished, regardless, since picking Palin was monumentally poor judgment on his part.
Given that both the Obama and McCain tickets are about looks rather than substance, the campaigns of Ralph Nader on the Left and Bob Barr on the Right, are looking much more attractive to those who are seeking a discussion of real solutions to our problems and real inspiration by our elected leaders.
