Just got a little thinner thanks to this new video from the Judy Feder campaign:

Disgusting Politics in the 10th

I wasn't going to blog about this, but it is getting too much attention to ignore.

As I am watching this video, I see a staffer following around yelling questions at Frank Wolf (most professional trackers videotape only and don't yell out questions trying to provoke the opposing candidate).  Then I see the staffer try to follow Wolf out the door, the camera gets VERY close to Wolf's wife a few inches from her head in fact.  Then the cameraman gets smacked by an 84 year old staffer nearby.

Good for the smacker.  Trackers are not there to stalk.  Trackers are not there to follow people around and yell questions at them.  And a 20 something staffer should not be getting that close to an elderly woman just to get a camera shot.

Charges should be filed, and they ought to be against the obnoxious tracker.  It's too bad this is the best the Judy Feder campaign has to offer in the final week.

Harrisonburg Registration Scandal

"On October 6, the last day to register to vote, volunteers from the Obama HQ delivered a stack of registration forms to the registrar’s office. Among those forms was the registration of an Obama staffer.

But six of the forms that were delivered in person arrived back at the office in the mail a week later, with a Richmond postmark. Joe Fitzgerald, Vice Chair of the 6th District Democratic Committee, wrote in an email yesterday

The form went to the Registrar’s Office on Oct. 6. Somehow, it left that office, went to Richmond, got in a mailbox, and came back to Harrisonburg. In a handwritten envelope, with the Obama office written as the return address.":

Interesting. A registration form delivered on time to the local office finds its way to Richmond and is mailed back to Harrisonburg a week later- when it is too late to register to vote.  Who could have taken the forms to Richmond?

"But it gets weirder. Yesterday (Friday) morning, Fitzgerald received several threatening, obscene messages on his voice mail. The caller claimed to be calling from the Obama Campaign. According to Fitzgerald, HPD traced the threatening calls to Ellis Logan, son of Harrisonburg Registrar Debbie Logan. According to Debbie, Ellis has lived in Richmond since June."

So the Republican registrar's son lives in Richmond- and is making weird phone calls to Democrats back in Harrisonburg.  Hmm...

It may be time to fingerprint these forms...
