Ben, I see you Tweet the Skins game with hashtag #skins. I think you should jump on the #hail bandwagon - You could bring a lot of momentum to it.

P.S. - Judy is cut from the cloth of Pelosi. I'm not sure she's a good fit for the 10th.

Heh.

What a terrible idea. Judy is a good person, but she has been an awful candidate and embarassed the party with her campaign's antics in 2008. She should focus on getting an Obama job and working in the Administration instead of running again - I've heard rumors that she's being considered for something at HHS.

She is not alone a number of other folks who have lost multiple times are talking of running. You should come up with a list of these folks so folks can recruit candidates in those races who have a chance to win.

I wish people would get Sam Rasoul to run against Will Fralin. If he can't win against Fralin, he probably shouldn't run for the 6th again like people want him to. If he can win against Fralin, the Dems pick up another seat. We win either way.

This is delightful news.

I'm thinking Ben should move into the 10th and then run for Congress. That could be entertaining.

Judy needs to hang it up and do something else. She is a horrible candidate and had no compelling message. Frank Wolf is a capable representative who won't get thrown out as long as the Democrats keep on nominating Feder. Someone more MODERATE could actually win here...

Great news! I have decided I am changing my tune and will do everything in my power to promote Judy Feder as the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I hear Frank Wolf is really really scared that she might run again. I absolutely believe she deserves another chance.

I think Judy is a great person to run again for this seat - I can't wait to see more of her TV ads!

Judy Feder = sure loss. She's horrible for this district. All she does is raise money from her DC fatcat friends.
She could have been at the Loudoun Harvest Dinner last night to thank everyone. Deeds, Moran, McAuliffe and even Steve Shannon were there. But Judy was a no show.
She's not electable. She's a horrible candidate with no message. ENOUGH.

I would love to see her run again. Maybe Frank Wolf will get 75% the next time.

It was probably her man cut talking...not her.

Judy Feder: this cycle's Al Weed.
Posted by: | November 24, 2008 at 03:10 PM
Come on folks, Feder managed to pull a next to impossible feat: Get blown out as a Democratic in a wave Obama year.
Posted by: | November 24, 2008 at 03:33 PM
yep, 3:33 she sure did- to the post above, same thing happen to Rasoul.
We need better candidates, plain and simple.

Leslie the Loser runs and loses over and over again and gets NLS 'support'...
Discuss..

Judy Feder has had her chances. There is no way the 10th is ever going to elect her. It's time the Dems find a candidate that has a chance. Enough is enough.
Posted by: | November 24, 2008 at 04:55 PM
The people in the 10th should have voted for Mike Turner in the primary.
Judy is a nice woman but can't win to save her life.
Posted by: | November 24, 2008 at 05:48 PM
Judy, Leslie... Leslie, Judy. Two loser peas in a pod.
Posted by: | November 24, 2008 at 07:23 PM
Judy Feder = Leslie Byrne. Both great people. Both candidates who cannot win.
Posted by: | November 24, 2008 at 10:25 PM
And from where does this pearl of political info come from?
Posted by: bwana | November 24, 2008 at 10:36 PM
It's hard to begrudge a Feder decision to run again; remember, Frank Wolf ran twice before winning on his third try. Congressman Wolf frequently reminds candidates of this fact to buck them up in the face of defeat.
On the other hand, the more likely result seems to be a third consecutive increase in his margin of victory. Not a bad accomplishment in light of the fact that the last two cycles were hardly good for the GOP.

For accuracy sake it should be noted that Congressman Wolf ran three times, but did not get the nomination in 1976, when it went to Vince Callahan (lost to Joe Fisher). Wolf got the nod in 1978 (lost to Fisher), then won the rematch in 1980.
So, while it is true he ran three times, he will also tell you the second general was his push all the chips in race...I don't know that his story told in full really offers a good backstory for Ms. Feder's ambitions.

Thanks for the clarification, Bwana. It was all before my time.

OH, I hear that all too often these days!
