Look at these changes to Virginia drivers licenses.
Why is everyone in black and white? Did someone in state government miss the last 80 years of color photographs? Is this a joke to make everyone look like crap???

Ben does not like black and white because he would rather look "pink" and "plump."

This during O's speech? I'm starting to worry you've hit your head.
I think all licenses should be like WSJ pictures.

I'm sure that Gerry Connolly is somehow to blame for the switch to black and white photos.

Canadian Bank Note...the company producing these; did you notice where they happen to have opened shop in VA? Read the article. Fishy.

Ben doesn't like this because they can't see his Armani shirt and multicolored Gucci scarf. And by the way, because you commented on Pelosi's clothes, I must beg the question are you a political blogger or Joan Rivers' son?? Because this whole blog just seems like a joke to me now.

Pelosi was doing her best Bill Belicheck impersonation last night.

The polycarbonate has been adopted by many other states and is much more secure.

If you took the time to find out more information you'd find that this is not a photograph.
It is a laser engraving which cannot be done in color but is more tamper proof. Virginia is the first in the nation and only the third area in the world to adopt this technology to make the licenses more tamper proof.
Instead of whining that the photo is not in color perhaps you should be hailing Virginia as being at the forefront on this issue.

Ben:
You're absolutely right. This design is awful. Why are we going BACK in time? lol. Its 2009, not 1949. I don't believe that this is more "tamper" resistant than any other form of license. Can't the state just leave the original design alone? I don't like things like this being shoved down my throat, especially this weird looking format.

...unless it's a socialist president taking my neighbor's money to help me pay the mortgage I can't afford.
