The Post claims JEff Frederick is saying he might run for chairman again! Poor, poor GOP. Queue croc tears.
Two lines of questioning about Jeff Frederick that have been bothering me. Does anyone know the answer to them?
1) He claims to be Hispanic. Jeffrey M. Frederick. Sounds pretty WASP-y. Did he change his name? Was he adopted? What's up with that?
2) He served for what appears to be a year in the USNR, according to his delegate page. How do you serve one year? That's short. How come only one year?

1) The mother or Father is is Peruvian if memory serves. Helps when you want to claim that dis-advantaged minority preference when you become a government contractor.
2) Last I hear he dropped for medical reasons. Someone should really demand to have his 201 file released.

I actually think he is Colombian, as he went on a tirade last year about gas prices, Chavez and the FARC-even referencing family members being kidnapped by the FARC--all during the morning hour in the 2007 session. It seems to be a recent turn of events that he is referencing his heritage, as his HOD bio on the state site does not list his race but does acknowledge his association with the Hispanic Business Roundtable and the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

Ms. Maddow knows her stuff, but she is deadly dull. I wonder where she gets the idea that she is clever. We couldn't get a second hour of Olbermann?

Sure would be nice if she at least a couple of facts right. About the only thing she got right is Jeffrey Frederick is no longer party chair

"Someone should really demand to have his 201 file released. "
Could they also ask for Obambi's birth certificate so we could tell if he is actually a US citizen?

Jeff Frederick is not a veteran. Ask him how long he was on actually active duty? Ask him why he didn’t stay?
Posted by: anon | April 07, 2009 at 09:29 PM
Because he's a pansy?

Change... ASKED AND ANSWERED -- OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS BONIFIDE and you are a fraud for continuing to peddle that nativist conspiracy theory tripe -- which reflects your adamant refusal to acknowledge the will of the American public.

I thought the segment was pretty funny although wasn't the comment that 6 Chairs had been fired in the past 6 years a mistake? Frederick was fired. I guess you could say Hager was "fired" since he didn't win reelection. But at least three others resigned. One of them (Thomson?) probably would have been fired as a result of the eavesdropping scandal.

Can someone please tell me who the SIX RPV Chairmen that were fired were?
As usual, liberals have no interest in the truth.

BTW, Maddow is boring and impossible to watch. Horrible.

Brian,
I want to root for her, too, but she's a dud. Olbermann and Matthews do it just fine.

Anybody who has read anything I've written on Too Conservative or elsewhere knows I'm no fan of Jeff Frederick.
That being said, Maddow's little segment was a horrendously poor review of the facts, and we haven't removed 6 of our last Chairmen. Two of them resigned voluntarily (Obenshain and Gillespie) and Hager was defeated.
Maddow needs to spend more time checking her facts. I know it's fun to be snarky, but it's more fun to be snarky and be right.

He's a veteran in the sense that he's got 180 contunious active duty service. When I was in the reserves they would give you 179 day orders, a day off and then another 179 days to avoid that.
I would not be shocked if he was either tossed because they eventually figured out he's not excactly office and gentleman material. Either that or he counted until he had his 180 days and then wiggled out of the contract.
Again, if he's going to claim he's a veteran when he's running for things then we have the right to demand his record.

maddow is clueless and speaks only to the mindless lemmings wandering aimlessly in search of validation of their own distorted truth. Anybody who listens to this goofy chick lacks the ability to think independently and should be summarily dismissed.

Rachel Maddow is vile.
