Good call on Leslie's part. You've always been close with her...why not reconsider your previous endorsement? All the cool kids are doing it...

This washed up hack's endorsement is about as relevant as Jean Packard's. Yawn

I think Deeds can survive this. He still is the best possible Democratic candidate for the general election, and a Byrne endorsement won't erode that reality. Nonetheless, this is a hit that Creigh didn't need at this point. Looking at the positive side, it will at least test his resilience.

...or it could help boost his credentials with the progressive community. I would remind everyone that Leslie was one of the first public officials to endorse Jim Webb in his primary race and that didn't seem to hurt him.

This just in: Mary Sue Terry is about to endorse no one.

All the more reason to support Brain Moran.

100% agree.

Her support worked like a charm for Greg Galligan.

Nice to see. I will support any Dem that wins, but I will certainly be voting Deeds in the primary.

I am voting for the candidate who promises to pay my mortgage and credit cards, get us out of Iraq by April 2009, create jobs, close Gitmo immediately, fix my 401k, stop those awful military tribunals, stop that awful wiretapping, make my house worth what it was last year, talk Iran and N. Korea out of nukes and put a chicken in every pot.
Ooooops.. that was Obambi and he is not running.
Well what are these guys promising??? Windmills???

Hopefully Deeds can overcome this near-fatal blow.
