And on Monday night, there was a major fundraiser for McDonnell at Army-Navy CC.
The buzz is that too took in major dollars.

i read the article but did not see exactly who the contributors were. the article mentioned K street, that is true, but we still need to know "who" before we get all huffy.

So when you Dems were raking in all kinds of lobbyist money over the past few years, were you complaining about htat, Ben? Maybe "smart money" is betting on your party getting ousted (at least in the House), so suddenly lobbyist money is big news for you.

WTF, Ben literally wrote one word: "Wow!" How is that "huffy" or "complaining"?
Also, Eric Cantor reminds me of the manager of the asshole store.

Cantor and his other "Young Guns" like McCarthy (R-CA), Ryan (R-WI), Hensarling (R-TX) are the future of House Republicans. This shows they are not only smart on some policy issues but know how to get things done politically. It's a good sign for the future of the House GOP.

If Cantor and his "Young Guns" had done something to stop Bush and the GOP leadership from driving the party off a cliff in the first place, perhaps they wouldn't now be in a position of having to raise it from the ashes. After 12 years of its own incompetent and corrupt socialism, the GOP has some nerve to criticize Obama.

I would like to know how much money GOP energy lobbyist and Hunton & Williams lawyer Joe Stanko of the Alexandria section of Fairfax county gave to anti-abortion Republican lawmakers. Last time I checked, it was a lot more than he paid in child support for the daughter whose mother he tried to bully into having an abortion. Not that Republicans aren't total hypocrites or anything...

I'm not a Democrat, Brian.

Had been thinking about Lindsey's new vibram fivefingers ever since she posted about them on this blog. When she first sent me a photo of these bizarre looking vibram five,I just laughed at their vibram fivefingers ridiculousness, thinking 'no way I'll ever put those things on my five finger feet! But alas, once I saw them and read about them, I just couldn't stop thinking about them! I had to try them for myself. Last week I went to Blue five fingers Ridge Mountain Sports in Charlottesville,
