So hilarious. She apparently had 3 talking points prepared for this interview:
1. "76% of Americans support a public option." Totally bogus misstatement of results from June 09 poll (think things have changed a little since then?).
I'm surprised she didn't cite the results of a previous question from the same poll that said 67% of Americans don't believe Obama's health plan, which includes a public option, is a good idea. (See, two can play that game.)
2. "No one can prove co-ops will control costs." Just like no one can prove a public option will control costs? Brilliant logic. Why not just use a USPS/FedEx analogy why you're at it?
3. "Evan Bayh isn't supporting the plan because his wife is tied to the insurance industry. All the senators who oppose the plan are tainted with insurance money." Yes, it's a vast insurance industry conspiracy.
If this is the best you have to offer, you are in bad shape. But thanks for the internal strife--what a fun summer!

You really ought to see somebody about that molehair, Ed. Yes, Evan Bayh is part of a vast insurance industry conspiracy -- just ask him, he'll tell you, proudly. That conspiracy is playing out before our eyes -- did anyone pay you to put up this comment?

Yes, I am getting paid millions to ridicule nitwits like you. What a career!
By the way, how does 43% sound?
