Town Hall Meeting with Jim Moran and Howard Dean is from 7 pm- 9 pm tonight (doors open at 6). Location is South Lakes High School- on South Lakes Drive in Reston.
At 9:30 Jane and I will be hosting a post-town hall get together for all the bloggers who are attending at Clyde's of Reston. To get to Clyde's from South Lakes High School- just take South Lakes Drive back towards Reston Parkway. Make a right on Reston Parkway and go about a mile until you see Reston Town Center on your left. Clyde's is in that complex.
Hope to see many of you there tonight!
That would be so cool if you could get Howard Dean to come over and do his scream for everyone in the bar...Haaaaaaaaaahh!!!

After hearing the projected federal deficit will be
$2,000,000,000,000 higher over the next ten years, we can all do the Dean scream!

Just got back and I found the behavior appallingly rude. I don't know how either man could have borne it or WHY they put up with it. They bent over backwards to appease these people--even allowing most of the questions to come from the "anti" box. And little thanks they got for their pains!
Needless to say, behavior like this was not allowed during the Republican years. Why are we so lenient?
Look, it's one thing to disagree and boo (or clap) during the appropriate times, but why continue to scream while other people are talking or asking questions? Why make it so hard for the rest of us to hear the speakers?
Obviously, their only intent was to disrupt the meeting and to keep any interested people from learning anything.
Rep Moran, I compliment you on being a gentleman and showing the good manners your mother taught you. But this was a case of pearls before swine. Although swine would be quieter!

Jim Parmalee was there egging the wingnuts on to ever more rude and offensive behavior.
The "doctor" shown on Fox is a County Republican Party operative - "artificial turf."
Those in favor of public option out numbered the wingnuts 10-1.
