What kind of idiot staffer calls from their campaign office number to their opponents office- without hiding the number- and claims to be a member of the media and asks for information on where the opponent is?
It's got to be a Creightard.
And for some reason unknown to anyone with a brain- that person is STILL working for Creigh Deeds and the campaign is trying to cover up who it was.
I'll blog about this everyday until we find out.
Just whose side are you on, anyway?
Posted by: R | August 31, 2009 at 05:59 PM
the same side as southside "dem"

Bummer Ben, you find an interesting story and report on it, and get ripped.
Next thing you know, you'll be defending Kenton's analysis instead of attacking the rich people as racist, and then you'll really be allowed to hang out with us in the NO DEMOCRATS ALLOWED treehouse.

Not surprising from Deeds. When think of Creigh Deeds and his campaign, I think about the great Lyndon Johnson quote about Jerry Ford, "the man can't fart and chew gum at the same time."
Posted by: Chris | August 31, 2009 at 06:41 PM
thatd be gerry, chris.

Let's get a counter on the side "Deeds campaign hiding phone fraud for X days and counting"
Posted by: William Jackson | August 31, 2009 at 08:23 PM
Actually, Chris is correct. Gerald R. Ford went by Jerry with a "J".
A lot of folks make the same mistake that you made, name must not be blank.

Well, with the head Creightard in LA raising money his staff needed a candidate to follow.

So I just finished reading McDonnell's thesis, and I've found 5 interesting things.
1. He thinks we teachers should start teaching religion. All I have to say to Bob is, if we're stumbling on the multiplication tables, I think working on student's souls is going to be a little too difficult.
2. He supports corporal punishment.
3. Says and I quote, "that people think they have the perverted notion of liberty that people should be able live out their sex lives without interference from the state." Well will you PERSONALLY be coming to watch me have sex there Bob, cuz three is a crowd in the bedroom for me.
4. That he believes in the Garden of Eden, and magical fairies, and free doughnuts!
5. That 'yuppie Republicans' and their permissive ways have destroyed their party. Wow, I never knew of such a thing!
All I can say is this is going to hurt McDonnell among women, I've emailed it to all my women friends, and they're all fired up to vote for Deeds now. Maybe it won't change too many votes, but it will sure boost some women to vote now for the Democrat!

"2. He supports corporal punishment."
... maybe he wants to get spanked by lesbians ... ? ...

Big fng deal. You're acting like this is some kind of scandal. Joe Abbey was spot-on with his response. A gung ho staffer tried to get cute.
And who, exactly, was hurt by this chick's little trick?
Get over youself, Ben. This is no macaca.

Funny, but no surprise.

Spock, once again:
The united people are the Republicans in this election cycle for now.
And the armed people are usually Republicans.
Now instead of you claiming that R's are shouting slogans of rebellion, aren't you a D advocating R's rebel?
Posted by: Not Michael Jackson | September 01, 2009 at 04:50 PM
Not MJ- I am not D, I'm an "@"
And I do agree with you that the Dems are pretty lame about unifying and standing up at present.
They rely on "us" to protest against the R's and do their dirty work for them.
Then they tell us to shut-up and sit down when we take a stand for single payer healthcare, or when we protest against what the world bank and imf are up to, and when we fight against racism, fascism and fight for human rights.
They throw these lousy candidates like Deeds at us, trying to sell him as "better than the crazy Repub" so we have to support them while they spit on our leftist ideology.
You and I are probably on opposite political camps, but I do agree with your assessment on the present Dem lameness and the how well K st has unified the right-wingers.
Posted by: Spock | September 01, 2009 at 09:29 PM
spoke -
@?
Anarchist/communist?
Against imf and world bank but for single-payer, if it weren't for the single-payer healthcare, I'd link you to an anarchist group so you could join.

Spock:
Cooch is selling Gadsden flags as a fundraiser for $100, perhaps you'd like one?
Great, you're a comm-libert and I'm more of a P.Henry (person not college, no flame wars please) libertarian
Posted by: Not Michael Jackson | September 02, 2009 at 10:23 PM
Not MJ- Coooch is a fascist, his name should be "Cooochie IL Duce'"
But thanks for the offer, although lighting a $100 Benny on fire would do more for society than giving it to a dictator.
I know what kind of Libertarian you are. It's an interesting concept except for the Capitalist part and the fact that the movement attracts some very dodgy people like Ron Paul and John Bircher types.
I do agree very much with the "civil Libertarians".
