Make sure that Mudcat Saunders is there so he can “honor” the folks along Route 1 like he did at the Democrat Press Conference when he didn’t realize the press was on the call. Such a classy guy…glad he’s yours.
Ol’ Mudcat’s comments as reported by the Post…
“ ‘From what I've seen up in Northern Virginia, they don't give a damn if people talk s*** about us.’ And in trying to explain that the comments might also be offensive to those with rural roots who live in Northern Virginia, he said there are ‘more rednecks on Route 1 in Alexandria than the sixth district of Virginia.’ ”

But there ARE more rednecks in the Route 1 corridor. The man merely spoke the truth.
Those of us old enough to remember "Hillbilly Heaven" on Rt 1 know this to be true. Not to mention, Mr. GOP, that if you believe "redneck" to be an exclusively negative term, your ugly Northern Virginia cultural bias is showing.
