Why does LeMunyon think he deserves to run for this seat? What has he done for the community? We all know that Chuck Caputo has served his community for many years in many capacities and all in volunteer roles. We need Chuck again!!!!

lol at Jerry and John.

John:
He deserves to run for the seat because we live in America and incumbents, oddly enough, often get opposed by candidates chosen by the other party. That's how democracy works. As far as I know, LeMunyon met all of the legal qualifications to be a candidate on the ballot for the House of Delegates in the district, and he met all of the requirements to receive the nomination of his party. Accordingly, he "deserves to run" for the seat.
Now, while he may deserve to run for the seat, the voters are under no obligation to vote for him, to vote for his opponent, or sadly, to vote at all. If the voters agree with you that Caputo's service to the community is a reason or the reason to re-elect him, then that's a different matter. But LeMunyon has every right to think he "deserves to run" against Caputo.
If the key issue that divides these two candidates are service to the community, then Caputo will be fine, although I don't know LeMunyon's record on that point. However, since the race seems to come up in a lot of discussions as one of the more competitive ones in the Commonwealth, I suspect that other issues are of far greater concern to the voters of that district than a possible disparity between the candidates in the number of volunteer hours served.

You folks have nothing better to do than attack hard working Virginians... how about talking about the issues...
How Creigh Deeds and the Democrats want to raise taxes in Virginia; How Deeds supports President Obama's radical Cap and Trade legislation; How Deeds supports Obama Care with the Death Panels; how about how Deeds and VA Dems want to get rid of Virginia's "Right to work laws"... stop attacking on trivial issues... you guys did it to Baise and look what happened under Gerry Connolly ... everything Baise said came true...
Face it Creigh Deeds and Virginia Democrats are too extreme for Virginia. What is Deeds plan for transportation? Oh he doesn’t have a plan other than raising taxes!

Ben,
I invite your readers to my website at http://www.lemunyon09.com/about.asp were there are references included to community service and other aspects of my background. The community service history is presented in abbreviated form, as I view community service as something I've done over the course of many years to benefit others, rather than benefit me or my candidacy. I welcome the opportunity to address any questions, and the contact information is found on the website.

What kind of fascist dad makes his family dress to match? hilarious.

Btw, this is so damn trashy. The people of Northern Virginia deserve a leader with a little more class.

I am headed to my Outback Steakhouse tonight for a bloomin' lemunyon.

Is the rumor true that they are going to wear red suits in the next picture?
Posted by: Brannon | September 20, 2009 at 03:36 PM
Oh yeah, Jim, my question is if you get elected as a delegate do all the people of your district have to wear co-ordinated outfits?
Posted by: Spock | September 20, 2009 at 04:51 PM
Considering that the Virginia Democrats were the ONLY party in the commonwealth to hold a state-wide governor primary in which democracy was actually upheld and not in some secret backroom convention, one wonders about Grant's interpretation of "extreme."
Posted by: Gretchen Laskas | September 20, 2009 at 04:54 PM
So the Democrats in Virginia have no recent history of using conventions to choose state-wide candidates?
Posted by: Larry Sabato's Hairpiece | September 20, 2009 at 05:34 PM
Maybe we learned that democracy works best after Republicans made ANOTHER backroom convention deal with Jim Gilmore just last year and we saw his disastrous Senate run?
But we're the extremists. Right.

Family vacation pictures in matching attire is very common. Not that any classless dems would know that, since most of them are anti-family.

I love that vacation picture in front of the LeMunyon house.

I'm sorry Gretchen, maybe I should have posted the Jackson 5, and we could all have "ABC Easy As 123" playing in our heads instead *grin*.

I. Pub.-
The way I've always seen it, family vacation pictures in matching outfits may be common, but they're usually a common way for parents to torment and embarass their children. But I always say humiliating your child is every parent's God-given right....

"The community service history is presented in abbreviated form, as I view community service as something I've done over the course of many years to benefit others, rather than benefit me or my candidacy."
Frankly, Jim, this sounds like a dodge. What EXACTLY have you done for the 67th district prior to running for delegate? It's a fair question and you have either a terrible answer or, worst yet, no answer.

Breaking news - everyone in the family owns a black AND a white shirt. And, he is political enough to convince his family to wear the same shirt on the same day. What a shock!
Sigh.....
At least the discussion of his activities and background is of a serious nature. And I admire him for his willingness to address the serious questions on this page directly. Even if too many readers act more like Joe Wilson than their mothers' would like.

To Grant Colman,
You must be an idiot...there are NO death panels...now stop listening to that hussy from Alaska.

An antifungal drug is medication used to treat fungal infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm, candidiasis (thrush), serious systemic infections such as cryptococcal meningitis, and others. Such drugs are usually obtained by a doctor's prescription or purchased over-the-counter. http://www.8pills.com/
