This douchebag (running against Paula Miller in Norfolk) has become enough of a threat that the Caucus had to send Paula a large chunk of emergency cash this week.

Ben,
The concern is how much money this crazy keeps on pumping into his campaign. He has already loaned himself $86,000, more than any other candidate running. The question should be where is he getting this money from? He has only lived in the United States for 7 years. Claims that he makes less than $50,000 a year, lives in an apartment and owns a small business that never really opened. He has never voted in Virginia and did not vote in the 2008 presidential election while living in New York. He had his named changed from Naimi Amiraliyev and is receiving money from overseas. People should be really questioning this guy.

orf ,
Interesting comments but, his bio says that he completed boot camp in 2002, are you saying that he moved to the USA and immediately went into the service?
It also states that he served on a guided missile destroyer and has received numerous commendations. You think that his background was never checked by the military?
I don’t know the man, but one your facts don’t seem to add up.

That was easily the funniest ad of the year.

"My priorities are the people's priorities."
Best line of copy writing EVER.

I agree that the line "my priorities are the people's priorities" is a really sad line. But then he isn't the only VA pol to have this. Even Chap Petersen calls himself 'The Peoples Senator', lame lame. Both parties do it and it makes no sense except as I appeal to the stupid voter.

The worst part of the ad is that the voice-over guy says "Nor-folk" as opposed to "Nor-fuck." Clearly not from around there.
