Put our grandchildren in debt. Lie about the cost. Put the government in charge of decisions best left to doctors. Screw the aged. Follow their leader rather than do what their constituents want.

I suppose all the women out there are glad they can save the gov’t money by putting off their mammograms and pap smears for ten years or more. I suppose that colonoscopies and psa tests are next; and who really needs to get a physical every year?

We can save a whole bunch of bucks if we just medicate the sick and keep them comfortable with the Obambi’s blue pills till they die. I wonder if that will be included in the final bill?

There is no thing called a patient-doctor relationship as the conservatives like to think. The insurance companies decide if your doctor is proceeding along their established guidelines. I know personally because I have had to wait for the insurance company to approve my prescription that my doctor wanted for me and also had to threaten to sue the insurance company when my wife almost passed because she needed a certain drug. Point blank quit lying and admit right wingers that your life is in the hands of insuranc eexecutives who care very little for you.

Yeah, Webb and Warner may be "real" Democrats. But you can't call them "moderate" anymore, that's for sure!

Change doesn't understand that the Obamacare would CUT medicare by $500 billion. These right-wing nutcases should be creaming their panties about that, seeing as how they hate government. But since ACORN(!!) is forcing me to write this comment through voter fraud, I guess it's not true.

I am a Republican & I am very concerned about this healthcare bill.

many doctors I know say they can't afford to work without Medicare Advantage reimbursement (a big player down in rural So. Va.) & don't want any more government intervention. so these doctors are going to retire early.

how could that help any sick person?

whether doctors in urban & surburban areas feel that way, I do not know.

Kevin, “average Americans” are opposed to this legislation and the only ones putting people’s lives at risk are those who want the gov’t to take over healthcare.

Further, the lie that this will “save” any money is bogus as the cbo states that less than 1% is spent in the first 5 years (making the actual cost around 2 TRILLION dollars) and also “cuts” doctors pay by 23%.
