Please continue to support the Beard-a-thon- and hopefully it goes on past tonight! Go Caps! I'll have new pictures of the beard posted tonight, win or lose.
UPDATE: Sigh. I think this is the 6th time I've seen the Caps blow a 3-1 series lead. At least it wasn't the Penguins this time.
Thanks to everyone who particpated in the beard-a-thon- we had 10 donors for $345- which was the 18th highest of all the beards! I'll take one last picture before the shave.
Ben- Have you seen this?

As a life long Red Wings fan, I feel your pain. You can take the President's Cup as it is the kiss of death!
Going to miss the Caps/Pens series....

I hate to say this but Cindy puts his teams on his shoulders and carries them to the big wins. This collapse was epic. Barf.

I hope George McPhee trades Mike Green. The guy is a chump come playoff time and he made the single worst play in Game 7 - costing us the critical first goal with that bonehead penalty in the offensive end. Then he makes a bad defensive play on the second goal. I'd rather get what we can in the trade market for him than continue to suffer through his playoff choking!
The only guys on the Caps who really seem to have both star both and a heart and soul to play in the playoffs are Ovi, Backstrom, and Brooks Laich. I love Semin, but he is snakebit come April and May.

Attention Ben: look to the Phoenix fans on how to handle a loss.
