Troy Bird was indicted by a grand jury in Roanoke Circuit Court on Monday on a total of seven charges that include sodomy, taking indecent liberties with a minor and aggravated sexual battery, according to online court records.
I wonder if he knows a good attorney?
Ya gotta love those Jerry Falwell Family Values Bible Thumpers.
Cooch's photo op with this (alleged) pervert has got to be the quintessential visual for the evils of blind partisan loyalty.
BTW, does Dave Albo do perverts or just drunk drivers and speeders?

Being a man of God and of family values all he has to do is use the Jesus get out of jail free card. Hell is only for those godless heathen Democrats.
He will admit that he has sinned and asked for forgiveness and seek redemption. Accountability is only for others. The Jesus people can behave any way they want and then mouth the magic words and all is forgiven.
It is the easiest religion to follow in the world. You criticize everyone else and get a free pass for your own misdeeds because you are a "man of God".
You'll have plenty of time to ponder this while you are burning in hell with all the other heathens.

"Ya gotta love those Jerry Falwell Family Values Bible Thumpers."
Appears that someone has had a politico-religious conversion on the road to Damascus!

How cans sodomy be a charge? Is sodomy a crime again?
Now, it appears the dude is a pedo, and for that he needs to be castrated, but, I don't understand why sodomy was in there.
Does anyone know the full story on this?
Posted by: Spock | June 25, 2010 at 10:52 AM
The sodomy charged is forcible sodomy, according to the Court web site. Carries same penalty as forcible rape.
Posted by: Southside Prosecutor | June 25, 2010 at 11:32 AM
SP-Okay, I thought that would also be categorized as rape.
What a sick dude!

Hmmm, let me get this straight . . .
Ken Cuccinelli knows Captain Jack Sparrow and Sparrow is now accused of doing naughty things with a minor.
Shifty.

I did not know that many Republicans were in the closet!
It seems like the whole party is closeted.

Tommy,
I haven't been to Damascus in years. I'm only a fundamentalist neocon in that strange little world that you live in.

Please tweet that photo and link the arrest report to @kencuccinelli. That would make my day.

Apparently you do not recognize either satire or religious analogy.

Tommy,
Apparently you do not recognize dismissive contempt.
I got the reference to Paul, dumb ass.
BTW, how did a self-proclaimed career Federal civil service parasite also spend "50 years or so dealing with the Dillon Rule at the Virginia GA?" Oh, and did you discover that reference to Judge Dillon by Googling the term? You probably thought that the Dillon Rule was based on Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke, didn't you?

NLS, I'd tread lightly. The Dem incumbent in that district has always had a number of rumors of unethical behavior swirling around him......and I'm talking fellow Dems, not GOPers, who talk about these allged misdeeds.

"BTW, how did a self-proclaimed career Federal civil service parasite also spend "50 years or so dealing with the Dillon Rule at the Virginia GA?" Oh, and did you discover that reference to Judge Dillon by Googling the term?"
When I first came by airplane to Virginia in June 1961, I sat alongside a lobbyist whom regaled me with stories of the Byrd Machine and the Dillon Rule nature of Virginia.
I first learned about the Dillion Rule in my college political science class in 1955.
Just because I, as a civil servant, was not allowed (as you also were not) to be active in partisan party politics (Hatch Act) from 1961 to 1987, that does not mean that I was not politically aware and active on and independent basis.
For a number of years, my federal employment involved interacting with state and local governments, including Virginia, on merit system issues where federal funds were involved. We had a number of problems on with Virginia, West Virginia and Louisiana in this area.
From 1966 to 1978 my federal jobs involved interacting on transportation issues with states, including Virginia.
And from 1987 until January, 2010, I was a lobbyist at the Virginia General Assembly where I was often involved on Dillon Rule issues.
I have the records to prove it.
Any more questions, asshat?

Tommy,
I hope that you know more about the Dillon Rule than you do about the Hatch Act. It applies only to Federal "Civil" Service employees and not to active duty military. That is why we have DOD Directive 1344.10.

Apparently, you need to take a reading comprehension course.

HisRoc,
“You probably thought that the Dillon Rule was based on Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke, didn't you?”
Now that’s funny…..
Not Larry, (give a poor old man a break, he should be able to write any history for himself he wishes)
ie:
Young tommy was a “civil servant” after he was in the military (a General, in the sheep mounted cavalry) and before he was the youngest elected representative from “never never land” to serve in the US government. After a long career in the government, he went on to become the first elected transgendered president of his “retirement community” association where he immediately made changes to the rules regarding living quarters; whereby (remembering his military history) he directed that all aged men were allowed one sheep per room (as long as it was named Dolly).
Speaking of “sex crimes” how is the “eco preacher” al gore holding up with the left???
Neither side seems to have a lock on decency.

Change:
Personally I always favored female humans and so limited my sexual experiences to that species, but I bow to your obvious superior wisdom and experience with the more favorable nubility of female sheep.
Unlike a lot of you self-proclaimed draft-dodging patriots, I actually proudly volunteered and served as an enlisted man during a time of war.
Other than constantly critizing "libruls" and other progressives on this blog, what have you ever done for your country? You also have no "lock on decency" since your comments always seem to refelect the abject cynicism of the Teabaggers and Fox News morons.
As Dave Weigel noted about Matt Drudge, why not do the world a favor and set yourself on fire?
Posted by: TomPaine | June 29, 2010 at 10:30 PM
Young tommy,
Glad you believe that “critizing "libruls" and other progressives” is a service to our country.
I am proud to serve…lol…
I have great respect for all who serve (and have served) our country, you just lie so much it is hard to tell if your declaration of service is true.
btw.. I agree that I have no "lock on decency" I freely admit I fall well short of perfection.
