FAIRFAX - Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli today announced that he had accepted invitations to campaign for Luther Strange, Republican candidate for Attorney General in Alabama, and Brenna Findley, Republican candidate for Attorney General in Iowa. Attorney General Cuccinelli will speak at events on the two candidates' behalf during a trip from October 4-5. The visits will not be paid for at taxpayer expense.
"It couldn't be more critical at this juncture in our nation's history to elect more leaders like Luther Strange and Brenna Findley who are committed to preserving the Constitutional rights of their citizens, as well as the traditional role of states in our system of checks and balances, against incursions by the federal government," said Cuccinelli. "The people of Virginia will also benefit to the extent we further strengthen the nationwide firewall against federal overreach. I am honored to have been invited to participate in their campaigns."
Lord have mercy.

Palin-Cooch in 2012. Run baby run!

"Palin-Cooch in 2012. Run baby run!"
The idea of either of those two elected president or vice president is truly cringe worthy. But it does a disservice to Cuccinelli to compare him to Palin. Cuccinelli is not the complete lightweight that Palin is.

C for P: I think Richmond Obs had it right, he's looking to raise his national profile so he might look good as v.p. You'd think he'd look better as a ticket balancer for a more moderate Repub like Romney than he would to Palin. Although I guess doubling down on right wing crazy would stay true to her philosophy (such as it is).

Or...he's one of the most prominent AGs in the country and the GOP in Iowa (and Alabama...funny how NLS doesn't include that in the headline) thinks his presence will benefit their AG candidates in those two states. If Jim DeMint were to campaign for people in South Dakota and New Hampshire, would you automatically conclude that he's looking to run for President?

Yes. Absolutely.
Jim DeMint has a huge ego and he clearly loves power. Have you read his most recent remarks about personally blocking anything and everything between now and adjournment that hasn't been cleared by HIS office?

It's a lot more common to bring in another state's U.S. Senator to campaign for you than another state's attorney general.

A lot of us are fairly certain that Ben can't find Iowa or Alabama on a map.

LOL! If it's outside the Beltway, Ben considers it the untamed, unwashed hinterlands, and there's no need for him to know or care where it is.

Be confident which you have by no means had any regrets within your lifestyle which only lasts for any handful of decades. Chuckle or cry as you like, and it is meaningless to oppress your self.
