If only Forrest Gump were a real person.
(not expressing any opinion on the execution itself, just pointing out that Forrest Gump is a caricature of a person with a lower IQ)

this is still the law in the Commonwealth.

.. and the automatic re-instatement of voting rights after a felon's sentence has been served.

How is Forrest doing? I have not heard much since Forrest Jr. started 1st grade, and I can only assume that he must be starting 7th or 8th grade by now (Forrest Jr., that is).
Would be neat if The View or maybe Oprah or perhaps Ellen would interview the Gumps. Did they make it out ok after Hurricane Katrina? How has the shrimp business been hit by BP? He could really tell us what is going on down there, and how life has been changed by all the environmental and man-made disasters of recent years (Forrest Jr., that is).
Hey, and what about AIDS research--how is that going? Maybe he can tell us if his fortune has been spent with increasing awareness of the insurgency of HIV in this country.
Hey, Ben -- why don't you reach out to Forrest and see if you can do an interview? That would be grand!

That IQ is still higher than yours, Ben.

are your proud of that, Brian? it must be that "pro-life" thing...
Posted by: Spock | September 23, 2010 at 10:28 PM
It's not something to be proud of. Simply acknowledged.

Are you saying that only smart criminals should face the death penalty?
Posted by: Lovettsville Lady | September 24, 2010 at 02:26 AM
I never thought that India did not have the resources and power to organise the commonwealth games. What a shame, really, what a shame... feel sorry for all of those who have trained so hard to go there.

Ben is studiously avoiding having to discuss the audit of VDOT (since it is so embarassing to Democrats), so he is harping on the execution of a criminal he doesn't really care about anyway.

Only a moron would believe that Teresa Lewis was an imbecile. Good riddance.

Pretty bizarre comparison, given that the Forrest Gump that you compare her two became a multi-millionare and ran a successful shrimping business.
But I guess if he killed someone, you'd argue that he was two ignorant to put to death either.

Forrest Gump was not a murderer.

I'd shoot her for having 16 items in a 15 item line. Offing her was doing her a favor.
