Moran is being ridiculous. We have a partnership with the feral government because the feral government is HERE. Other cities have good public transportation without the feral government.
Businesses locate around METRO stations simply because customers can get there. That's why businesses spring up around Interstate exits. That does not mean that Interstate exits and METRO stations create jobs, but only that they create an incentive for businesses to put the jobs they are creating at those locations.

A person who thinks this is going to lead the democratic party in virginia back to majority status?
It's bad enough that most of our leaders drive subarus and prius's, now we have one who brags 'bout not having a car. When did we become a bunch of left-wing naderites or green party people?
Talk about being out of touch with the average voter - here's the example.
