They've evaluated three things he's said. One was a pants on fire. The other was true. This one is barely true.
That's 2 out of 3 truthful statements. Compare that with Perriello - 2 falses and 1 half truth.
I would say Politifact should go full time on Perriello, but I don't think they'll waste their efforts fact checking a private citizen.

Every time Democrats lose power, they get batshit crazy.
Pointing out a little politispin is getting slapped? LMAO! Thanks for the morning laugh, Ben. Always a joy to watch you embarrass yourself.

OK, I understand how it works now. It doesn't matter that Cantor is a liar because Perriello is (was) a bigger liar. Thanks for clearing that up.

Wait - Cantor says letting the tax cuts expire would raise taxes on small businesses. Politifact says "sure" - but only rates it barely true?
Seems like he was accurate, and they're trying to create caveats.
Would taxes go up on small businesses? Yes. Then it's true.
Kinda like being a little pregnant - you are or you aren't. In this case, it's true.

Not Einstein, I'm not ignoring Cantor being wrong. My point is that Ben thinks Politifact could cover Cantor full time because he thinks Cantor is untruthful. But Cantor isn't the most untruthful elected official on their roster - Perriello is (was).

why is it so hard to be a Redskins fan?

Kelley, maybe it is because they are run by Republicans who like Republicans keep on making the same mistakes over and over again despite repeated object lessons to the contrary. And for some reason despite all logic, and experience, fans go with their hearts and root for the skins...

WJ,
The reason is because Obama is cutting taxes on all income below $250,000 and because only a handful of real small businesses, rather than the strawmen corporations cited by NFIB are really and truly making so much in revenue that they would actually be impacted by letting the misguided Bush tax cuts expire. Oh, and btw, if those Bush tax cuts were so great at creating jobs, why did we have an economic collapse and lose nearly 10 million jobs at the end of the Bush II administration?
Waiting for an answer....

"The reason is because Obama is cutting taxes on all income below $250,000"
Wrong. How does it feel to be one of the sheeple who bought into the Big Lie?

Do you know what a business making $250k per year is worth? Somewhere between $500K to $1 million. Of course they would not be effected by the tax increases. A business making $500k per year would pay $7500 more in taxes. I don't think the owner would have any complaint because his business would be worth nearly $2 million. With a business THAT successful, it does not make sense that $7500 per year will stop the owner from expanding does it? Wish I had these problems.
