Millions of stupid tax breaks/loopholes and the most important one to the working poor and the middle class is the one under discussion for elimination?
This is President Obama's idea of a commission? Barf. It's the 21st century version of "Let Them Eat Cake".
Wasn't 0bama blasting McCain for suggesting that health insurance be non-deductible?

How many employers provide property insurance for homes or vehicles?
Why is it so necessary that employers provide health care? Responsible citizens should pay for it themselves.

Is this not the “hope and change” that some were looking for???
Go figure….. Employers try to do something good for their employees by “providing” them healthcare and the gov’t wants to tax them. Maybe the “chickens are coming home to roost” for those who believe the mantra that “business” is “evil”.
As an employer I can tell you that, in this economy, nobody is going to get a raise to pay for their insurance “tax”.
Maybe next Obambi will want to tax (again) the meals a company provides for “Christmas parties” for their employees calling it “Pay”;
I got a turkey from my employer for Thanksgiving, should I send Obambi five bucks for that “benefit”???

VI,
Nobody said it was “necessary that employers provide” insurance; it just sucks that if one wants to do something good for their employees, somebody gets penalized…
And btw… “responsible citizens” are not usually the problem in any circumstance.

It will go nowhere.
It's Obama's way of saying "I'm serious about Gov't debt even though I just ran a 1.4 trillion deficit and passed a trillion dollar health care bill. Do this stuff instead of repealing Obamacare."
Debt Crisis are happening in... Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, California, USA.
The upcoming debt crisis will make the housing collapse look mild.

Yeah, won't work.
Even if the law required the company to pay you the money it had been spending on your health insurance, you, as an individual, couldn't afford to buy the same level of coverage with it.

Steve,
I know quite a few people who "can't afford" health insurance. One of them just sent me a text during her dinner at P.F. Chang's on her iPhone, right before going to see Harry Potter.

Ideally we should move away from all third-party (Insurance) involvement in Healthcare.
