The one person who is ultimately responsible for Senate Democrats is Dick Saslaw. When he failed to pay attention to the bill Ryan McDougle introduced that could be amended for abortion clinic regulations he lost the issue forever.

If they can force judges to retire at the age of 70, they should set an age limit for legislators. Why is Pollard throwing in the towel?

Hmmmm...I picked up a rumour that he may have retired from the House, but maybe not the General Assembly. Democrats may be looking to draw him a Senate district.
