Looks like Dick Saslaw's move to recruit Charlie Colgan to move back to PWC and get his grandfather to run again in the meantime while he reestablished residency was successful.
Got to give Saslaw credit where it is due, this was a pretty bold and creative way to keep Colgan in the fold until a potential November 2012 special election downballot from the Presidential race.
this theory confuses me. 1: does this man have employment? NoVa has little unemployment so maybe that's not a problem there, but moving is expensive.
2: the state Senate job doesn't pay well & he will have to take time from whatever job he finds.
3: he has to secure nomination & win in order to complete the great masterminded scenario.

Plus, the Gov. sets the date fpr special elections. I doubt Bob will set the date on the presidential ballot.

No special election can be held within one month (before or after) a general election. The Governor is limited in how quickly a special can be called. A late July resignation means the Governor has no choice but a special election on the same day as the general.

You could just admit you were wrong, Ben.

Charlie has no interest in moving back to Virginia or running for the State Senate.

Ben,
Now that I've shown you what I can do, I expect you to jump aboard the Barbara Favola bandwagon. There is no one quite like her.

On an objective level, once cannot but hope that this kind of sleazy machinations comes around to bite its perpetrator(s) in the a**!

It’s not the first time the 89-year-old retired civil engineer has been dismissed by the Christian mainstream and has been forced to explain when his prediction didn’t come to pass. Camping also prophesied the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said later that didn’t happen then because of a mathematical error.
