With the first state appointment to the Metro Board, Governor McDonnell selects Jim Dyke.
Jim is one of the most respected people across party lines in Northern Virginia and will do an outstanding job.
I can't think of a better possible appointment.
Yes this is an appointment we can applaud. Jim is a respected member of the community, i.e. Virginia, and will bring a reasoned voice to the table.

My great aunt Ella said that even a blind hog could find an acorn, every now and then.
Big Debt Bob sure did.
Secretary Dyke is not only smart, honorable and wise; he's also a good man.
I'll be the tea party is stewing.

No, JWS. People who appreciate the Tea Party are able to recognize talent regardless of party affiliation. Something that bitter hacks like you can't understand.

I believe Jim Dyke's family is from Bedford. We're proud of him.

And one of the commenters here is someone else we are very proud of: former State Senator Emilie Miller, who was a tireless champion for Fairfax County during her tenure in office. I no longer live in Fairfax, but as a Republican, always supported Senator Miller because she reached across party lines and was a moderate on many issues.

An increasing number of experts believe that migrants will exert positive effects on construction of city.
The information I've collected over last few years leads me to believe that this knowledge may be less useful than most people think.
