Elect that non entity and we're screwed! There will be no one left to speak out against the unrestricted power of the electric utilies. Small business and the consumers will take it in the neck. Ward Armstrong has been one of the few with the nerve to speak up about this!

Ward's claims have been rated as "Pants on Fire" and if has truly the "Honest Lawyer" his sign on his office claims, meh would pull his commercails.

Poindexter is "hoist by his own petard." The official tape of his remarks on the floor of the House shows that he stated the reason for rate increses was the increase in the citizens use of electricity. From the lobbyists' lips to Poindexter's ear and spewed forth by him on the floor..."Yes, ladies and gentlemen, any increase is your own fault!" (so he says).

Ward is an example of what many lawyers are accused of, he shows a willingness to lie about anything that will gain him power. Not the kind of leaders we need in Richmond.

No matter what you say-Ready- Ward is NOT telling the truth about APCO and you know it. Sad but I guess if you have been totally ineffective as a party leader and as a legislator, you need to come up with something. What is the unemployment rate in Martinsville/Henry County ? Why doesn't Ward want to talk abut that ?

You guys are seeing the forest despite the trees on this ad...
What type of Chairman is the kind of ego-maniac who puts his own face on-screen during the authorization line?
Posted by: Willie | October 22, 2011 at 11:56 AM
Willie:
Virginia law requires it in this case. Go back to looking at the forest.

Are you talking about Mullins being in it or that it says Poindexter for Senate and not for House?
Posted by: Joe Taylor | October 22, 2011 at 03:16 PM
The incorrect office. Mullins is in all of the RPV ads.

Yep, Tucker, old Poindexter can keep blaming the consumer for making the rates go up by using so much electricity. I always thought that the unit costs go down when more is used. But hey, I know the laws of economics, reality and regard for the truth are suspended when you are making a case for someone who has paid you.
Wow, electing Poindexter will really help the electric utilities--and we all know how much they care for each and every one of us.
Posted by: Not Ready Kilowatt | October 22, 2011 at 06:32 PM
@Ready, Ward took over 100 K from utilities in the last 10 years. Who do you think has been paid ?
See here for objective review on Ward- "the honest lawyer "

If demand is higher and supply is constant, price goes up. So the laws of economics aren't not suspended, but thanks for playing. Also, $100,000. Who got paid?

Where are the hairpiece alerts?!?! This is Poindexters's macaca moment!
Posted by: Not Bubby | October 22, 2011 at 10:37 PM
Wow, that was one mess of an ad.
Tucky, if you'd only darkened one of the faces, it might have met your standards.

And, by the way, Tucky, this is America:

Great post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am impressed! Extremely useful information specifically the last part I care for such information a lot. I was looking for this certain information for a long time. Thank you and good luck.

Mr. Severt,
Southside has changed from your old liberal days. It is nearly solid conservative now. Your attacks are worthless to anyone who knows me at all. I don't hear of any candidates asking for your help :)
Posted by: Tucker Watkins | October 26, 2011 at 11:29 AM
Southside liberal? Are you kidding?
Don't confuse liberal and Democratic as synonymous. Harry Byrd was no liberal.

This is definitely a blog worth following. You’ve got a great deal to say about this subject, and you can also tell that by the huge number of comments!

Oh, Tucky, my " old liberal days . . ." Truth be told, I can't ever recall a congressional candidate (cough, uh, Robert Hurt) ever being required to promise not to hire me.
