Boom. Gingrich is also up big. I won't vote for him because I require at least 3 ex-wives of my presidential nominees.

It looks like Bolling is going to have to 'lick the Cooch' in order to get to the Governor's Mansion.

That seems about right. Bolling has deep connections in RPV, but not a lot of support in the electorate, who generally don't know a thing about him or his positions. Cuccinelli appears to be a dynamic, young, well-informed and principled conservative, while Bolling is more or less as exciting as Bob Dole.

If Bolling didn't look beatable, Cuccinelli wouldn't be taking him on.
Bill Bolling brought this on himself by acting like the nomination was in the bag.

Not surprised. Since the State GOP sweep, Republican activists have been reaching out and encouraging Bolling to spend time in Northern Virginia. He has made pathetic, if any, efforts to reach out. I guess NOVA is "too diverse" for his liking. Bolling has handed the nomination to Cuccinelli.

whatever you think of the two men ideologically, Cuccinelli has superior political skils. I mean Bolling barely beat Leslie Byrne who, sorry NLS, by Virginia standards is damn near a communist.
