Amazing announcement today from Bob Marshall on his challenge to George Allen.
This could be a real race if Marshall can raise enough money to introduce himself across Virginia.
And what will The Cooch do? Cooch nominated Marshall at the 2008 convention for U.S. Senate and is a very close ally of his. A Cooch endorsement could be huge for Marshall if he can get it...
I think if Marshall had announced a year ago, the anti-Allen vote would have united behind him and he'd have had a shot at having an impact on the nomination. He's getting in awful late.

If you wanted to follow the pattern of previous posts, the headline should read, "Cuccinelli Slaps George Allen in the Face!" LOL

I think you're trying to manufacture a story out of nothing. Marshall almost beat Gilmore in a convention, where crazy is king. Isn't it a primary this go-round?
Do you honestly see a pathway to victory for Bob Marshall?

I'll be voting for Bob Marshall in the primary, just as I'll vote for Ron Paul on March 6th in the republican presidential primary.

Steve Vaughan is right, Marshall needed to get in much earlier to have any shot at making this competitive. Voters don't need such early attention, but you can't reach them when the time comes without a decent warchest, and against Allen the money is harder on the right to come by and requires an earlier start to accummulate it.
Too bad, I'd love some cat fud in this race, but Allen will coast in the primary.
